January 3, 2023 has changed my life for what I knew it to be completely. I feel like I exhaled for the very last time when I received the news. You are my rock. As your older sister, I could protect you from the world, yet I felt defeated when I realized I could not save you from this. I could not bring you back for one last laugh, hug, or kiss. I am continuously reminded of you when I look in the mirror as I see you in me. I ask that you provide me the strength you had to cope with all you experienced in life. As tears pour down my face I want you to know that I am satisfied in knowing you suffer no more. I want your life to be celebrated, not mourned. Selfishly I want you here. I want you to call me randomly and ask me to retwist your hair while we listen to music, eat, and watch movies, I want you to call for advice one more time, I want you to tell me I am not the boss of you, I want to laugh about moments in our childhood and how you considered mommy your closest friend, I want to go grocery shopping for you just to get you everything I want you to try, I want you to tell me your business ideas for Veggie Green Cafe once more, I WANT YOU!!!! Still buzzing from Invest Fest 🔥

A room full of people chasing greatness, sharing knowledge, and pushing each other higher — that energy is contagious! Shoutout to @earnyourleisure @investfestival for creating a space where community and wealth-building actually live in the same room.

And the full circle moment for me? Snapping pics outside my old high school right — the same streets, completely different vision. Grateful for how far this journey has come, and even more locked in on where it’s going.
