Some places are more than just buildings.
They become a part of who you are.
Established in 1911, the College of Arts and Crafts in Lucknow has been a part of the artistic journey of generations of students.
For me, this place holds a very special meaning.
I feel truly fortunate to have completed my Master’s in Photography from this very institution.
My journey here was not just about learning photography.
It was about learning how to see, how to observe, and how to find my own way of telling stories.
The classrooms, studios, corridors, and countless memories from these years will always remain close to me.
This place gave me an education,
but more importantly, it helped shape the way I see the world and express myself through photography.
Some places you graduate from.
Some places become a part of you.
And for me,

जो मेरे घर कभी नहीं आएँगेमैं उनसे मिलनेउनके पास चला जाऊँगा।एक उफनती नदी कभी नहीं आएगी मेरे घरनदी जैसे लोगों से मिलनेनदी किनारे जाऊँगाकुछ तैरूँगा और डूब जाऊँगापहाड़, टीले, चट्टानें, तालाबअसंख्य पेड़ खेतकभी नहीं आएँगे मेरे घरखेत-खलिहानों जैसे लोगों से मिलनेगाँव-गाँव, जंगल-गलियाँ जाऊँगा।जो लगातार काम में लगे हैंमैं फ़ुरसत से नहींउनसे एक ज़रूरी काम की तरहमिलता रहूँगा—इसे मैं अकेली आख़िरी इच्छा की तरहसबसे पहली इच्छा रखना चाहूँगा।
