JIMMYS MOVEMBER MURPH CHALLENGE | SUNDAY 25TH OCT 60 Murphs. 30 Days. 1 Great Cause. Every 60 seconds, a man dies by suicide globally. This Movember, @sauceyjim is taking on 60 Murph workouts across 30 days to raise awareness for men’s mental health. And he’s kicking things off with a BIG day at Life Hub on Sunday October 25th. From 6AM - 6PM, Jimmy will be tackling Murph workouts back to back, with a new wave kicking off every 2 hours. That’s where you come in🤝 Book into a wave and complete one Murph workout alongside Jimmy. Come run, knock out some reps, have a chat and help him get through a pretty ridiculous challenge for a very worthwhile cause. Never done Murph before? No worries. The workout can be scaled to suit all abilities, split in partners or groups, so everyone is welcome. One booking = One Murph workout. Feeling extra ambitious? Book yourself into more than one wave. Doing hard things together and starting important conversations. That’s what this one’s all about. LET’S GET HAIRY. Book via Life Hub App. Donations welcome via QR code on day. by @sauceyjim
She's the avo to my toast. She's the calm to my chaos. She's the icing to my cake. She's the Hermoine to my Harry. She's the Garth to my Wayne. She's the Piper to my Leo. She's the Sam to my Dean. She's the Rory to my Lorelai. And She's 1 year older. Happy birthday to the biggest gangsta I know. by @sauceyjim
60 Murphs. 30 Days. 1 Great Cause. This @movember, I'm changing the face of men's health by tackling the brutal Murph workout twice a day. Thats nearly 200km running, 18000 squats, 12000 push ups and 6000 chin ups. But here's the catch, I don't want to do it alone. Doing hard things together and starting conversations, thats what its all about this year. Come run, smash out some reps and help me get through this. Need to be organised this year so Calendar is now live. Check the link in bio to book your spot with me or donate to the cause. Unsure if you can complete it? Murph can be tailored so everyone is welcome. Let's Get Hairy! by @sauceyjim

When we know your weird quirks, like that foot shimmy you do before setting up to do a back squat, Or the real (slightly embarrassing) reason you broke your pinky toe last year, It’s only fair we share with you ours. [Aside from being awesome] Your team at Life Hub Geelong are human, silly, flawed, and passionate about random stuff too. 🥰✌🏽 by @sauceyjim
Every 60 seconds, we lose a man to suicide. Every. Single. Minute. This Movember, I'm not just growing a Mo. I'm doing 60 Murph workouts in 30 days. One for every man we lose each minute as we sleep, eat, scroll, and go about our day. But here's the thing about hard stuff, it's better when you don't do it alone. Each day, someone can join me. Show up, and we split the reps. The workout gets easier. The conversation gets started and that's the whole point. Because the hardest part isn't the pull-ups or the weight vest, it's showing up for each other. More details to come. Strap in. #movember #allformenshealth #havinfundoingood #mentalhealth #suicideprevention by @sauceyjim
Courage. Endurance. Mateship. Sacrifice. The four pillars of Kokoda. 96km later, they're no longer just words on a monument they're lessons etched into every climb, every muddy missed step, and every challenge overcome. Forever grateful for the experience, the people, and the perspective gained along the way. by @sauceyjim
Kokoda… Wow Talk about a humbling experience. If I’m honest my knowledge of what went on there was limited but that changed very very quickly. A part of our history that opens your eyes to exactly what went on and how much our great servicemen and women sacrificed for our futures. Then there’s the other side - the mateship. The privilege of being able to do this challenge with some of my best mates isn’t lost on me. The fact I got there in the end to do it at all was an achievement in itself. It was a huge physical challenge, but the mental side was probably larger again for mine. Away from family without comms was a different gravy. Having time to reflect and get into your own uncomfortable thoughts also proved tough. Hopefully a few lessons learned for future me. A hugely rewarding trip and one I’d recommend anyone doing. ✌🏻 by @sauceyjim
KOKODA TRACK. Courage. Endurance. Mateship. Sacrifice. I've just returned from one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. A group of mates traded comfort, convenience and the "usual" overseas holiday for sore legs, brutal jungle climbs and a challenge that tested us physically, mentally and emotionally every single day. For 9 days there was no reception, no electricity and nowhere to hide from the challenge. Just your own thoughts, your mates and a deeper appreciation for those who walked and fought there before us. For me, Kokoda was about honouring those who sacrificed so much for our country. It was also a powerful reminder that growth rarely comes from comfort. Truth be told, this is a trip I've wanted to do for many years. Like a lot of worthwhile challenges, it always seemed easier to put it off until "someday". I'm grateful I finally committed. The harder the challenge, the greater the reward. WHAT'S A CHALLENGE YOU'VE BEEN PUTTING OFF THAT MIGHT BE WORTH TACKLING? I'd love to hear what's on the cards for you... 👇 More Kokoda stories, lessons and reflections to come... by @sauceyjim
Still here. Still hairy. Four years as a moustache farmer and somehow the moustaches keep getting better while the impact keeps getting bigger. Proud to be part of a community built on mateship, purpose, and not taking ourselves too seriously. Stay hairy. Have fun. Do good. Repeat. by @sauceyjim
