Kicked off Songkran (Thai New Year) with S2O — literally the world’s wettest party. Easily one of the most epic events I’ve ever been to. 35,000 people going absolutely wild. I was on the VIP stage for a breather from getting drenched, but the Bangkok heat made that cool water feel amazing.

Took my brother down into the pit and it was total madness — water cannons blasting. It was like taking a 3+ hour shower while dancing your heart out. You’d get soaked, wipe your face, and just burst out laughing at how insane it all was. We worked our way right up to the front and at one point I looked up full moon in the sky, perfect temperature, and Diplo + Major Lazer absolutely killed it. Unreal.

The next day hit Khaosan Road — Thailand’s legendary 3-day water fight. Be warned: everyone is fair game… even the cops. Water guns everywhere, ice water buckets coming from all directions. Pickup trucks full of people in the back, unloading freezing water. That shock of ice-cold water in Thailand’s summer heat felt so good.

Thailand has two seasons — hot and fu*kin hot and Songkran is the ultimate way to survive it. Honestly, one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. If you ever get the chance, be in Thailand before the New Year hits. Prepare to get absolutely soaked.

📍 500HP Turbo Diesel Longtail River Boat – Thailand 🇹🇭🔥

The ultimate longtail riverboat experience — and easily the craziest thing I’ve ever done.

This beast is powered by a 4JJ turbo diesel motor, pushing 500HP and hitting speeds up to 90mph down a narrow canal. I’ve been in fast cars before, but nothing compares to this. Just when I thought we were at peak boost… he unleashed full boost — and I swear I felt my soul leave my body 😳

It started with a pickup in a turbo diesel van — carbon hood, TE37s, and a driver who clearly thought he was in a race. I was still recovering from a late night of drinking and figured I’d nap on the way… nope. He was hitting 32psi, full boost on and off the whole ride. Fastest I’ve ever been on a freeway in Thailand.

Before the ride, I got to tour the guy’s engine shop. He builds insane motors — one compound turbo setup was making 700HP. When he’s not terrorizing canals, he’s racing boats and just won a 1 million baht race (~$30,000 USD) in Phuket.

Once we hit the water, it was pure adrenaline. The acceleration, the noise, the speed — my face was literally rippling in the wind. At one point my mouth blew open and all I could scream was “Oh my GOD!” 🤣

No helmets. Just me, my sunglasses, and a kid behind me with the most priceless expressions. Looking back at the videos later made me realize just how sketchy it really was.

After some wild rips down the canal, we stopped at the floating market for lunch — crushed 3 plates of food and a couple beers before heading back to Bangkok.

Hands down one of the most unforgettable and insane experiences of my life.

This deserves its own post.
I reached out to First, the owner of The First บ้านรถซิ่ง, which translates to “The First Race Car House” — @the_first_nagaoka

I messaged First after seeing a video of his 1,300hp Nissan 240 drag car at Bangkok’s local drag strip, Bangkok Drag Avenue. I asked if I could meet him at the track, and he invited me to his race shop.

When I arrived, I saw Supras, 240s, RX-7s, and Evos. I immediately knew I was in the right place. I was impressed with the quality of parts they were using — Precision turbos, Peterson dry sump kits, Radium surge tanks, and components from Magnus Motorsports.
The cost of these parts is even higher in Thailand due to import tariffs. The more I looked around the shop, the more impressed I became. These guys are absolutely building real race cars.

After checking things out and asking a lot of questions about the various builds, he mentioned he had a few more cars stored down the street and invited me to check them out.

I hopped on the back of his motorbike, and when we got to the second shop, I was in complete shock at the number of cars being stored. Mostly drift cars, but a few drag cars too — some of his personal vehicles and some belonging to clients.
Skylines, 240s, Supras — he took the time to pop the hoods and show me the quality of his builds.

All these cars were running aftermarket ECUs — no surprise, MoTeC was the most popular. They had dry sump kits, many had sequential transmissions, high-end Recaro seats — it was clear the 2JZ was the go-to engine for most of these powerhouse builds. Most of them made well over 1,000hp.

We talked about the different builds, and he mentioned having clients from all over — Japan, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, to name a few.
It started to rain, so we wrapped things up and headed back to the shop as we were getting soaked. The rain quickly turned into a monsoon (lol). We took cover and waited it out for a bit.

Before I left, First took me down the street to a restaurant for some food.
The hospitality and generosity of Thai people is truly unmatched. 🇹🇭❤️

Thank you, First — I’m proud to call you my friend. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾🏁

March in Thailand was wild. Experienced a 7.7 magnitude earthquake (welcome to Southeast Asia), hit rooftop bars in Bangkok, and joined Muscle Factory — easily the best gym in Asia.

I rode motorbikes through the city and ate my weight in street food, with most plates costing $1.80 or less. Went prawn fishing for the first time and met some monkeys. I quickly learned that Thailand’s summer doesn’t mess around — you’re sweating constantly without even realizing how much. Staying out all night is way too easy when it’s this hot and humid. Went to a few after hours clubs. Hottest temperature I felt was 105° but the humidity made it feel hotter. It didn’t take too long to adjust to the chaos of the city traffic — Bangkok’s wild, but you eventually find your rhythm.

Pro tip: on Bangkok sidewalks, walk in a straight line — motorbikes will be flying past you like it’s their lane.

After coming here no city compares to Bangkok.

Evox drag car is officially a roller! 😮‍💨

Thank you to everyone who has helped keep this project moving forward! When I first got this shell is was just a slider with no suspension components. Looks good now it’s off the chassis dolly.

New Year New Gains.

Bulked for 9 months and been cutting for the last 3.5
Last year my goal was to get bigger. This year I’ve realized I want to start a new journey into body building to see what I’m capable of. You have 1 life the question is what are you going to do with it. 🏁
