Last year I traveled nearly 85,000 miles. Airports, convenings, panels, policy rooms — movement in every sense of the word. 🌐

It was a year of momentum, but also felt a sense urgency, mixed with truly extraordinary global conversations. Now I find myself in a very intentionally different season. A pause to build, and leaning into the winter slowness before spring renewal. ✨

As the pace slows, I keep coming back to this moment from Aspen last summer — high in the mountains, in a room grounded not in performance, but in inquiry. After a year defined by motion, this space reminded me that global convening, at its best, is rooted in curiosity. In disciplined dialogue. In the courage to ask better questions and to sit with complexity. 💭

The hope in that room wasn’t naïve and in a time when it feels difficult to even open social media and news apps for fear of what more disastrous and negative thing we might unknowingly stumble across, I feel grateful to have spaces to think deeply and pause from our typical day to day. This season feels less about miles traveled, and more about depth gained. And I’m grateful for that. 🤍 by @savannahmlane
