Happy International Women’s Day!

I’m so grateful to be surrounded by strong, inspiring women who lead with kindness, confidence, and courage. From mentors in the Miss America Opportunity to the young girls I’m lucky to call my Little Sisters, I’m reminded every day how powerful it is when women support and encourage one another. Let’s continue lifting each other up, chasing our dreams, and creating opportunities for the next generation of girls to shine. Here’s to strong women!

The dress may catch your eye, but the woman wearing it is what truly makes the impact. Happy National Dress Day to the women using their platforms to create change.

Saltmarsh Dance is launching a new season of performances that will expand our work beyond Jacksonville, Florida. As a dancer and artist, I’m honored to contribute to new choreography that will reach audiences nationally and internationally.

Join us February 26–28, 2026 in our studio black box at the McKenny Theater for a special evening of dance, live music, film, and original choreography.

Featuring performers Matt Doolin, Evan Pitts, Emily Poli, Aria Rathle, and Suzanne Saltmarsh.

The evening opens with three student choreography works, three guest artist works, and a special feature, followed by Words…, a half-evening work exploring connection, perception, and shared human experience.

Tickets: Venmo, check, or cash in advance, and credit card at the door.

We look forward to welcoming the Jacksonville arts community and beyond.

I’m a little late but in honor of the MISS VIRGINIA pageant last week, I thought I would share a few of my favorite moments from being part of the Miss Virginia Organization. From mentoring young women, to singing the national anthem at celeb/charity events, to spending time with the families of active duty soldiers during the holidays, etc., being Miss Capitol Region 2015 was an ERA✨Special S/O to the 2 amazing women who were my directors @capitolpublicrelations & @miss_hwq22 who then became family 💜 (I also held the Miss Piedmont Region Teen title in the Miss Virginia Organization prior to winning the Miss Capitol Region 2015 title later on.) #TheEraBeforeMissIndiaWorldwide

Description:

www.togetherpurple.org (http://www.togetherpurple.org/) is a youth leadership movement, technology platform, and PAC created to amplify and empower Gen Z voters around the causes they care about, similar to Rock The Vote in the 90s.

We will be kicking off the first pilot launch for our video podcast series with an episode of the “TOGETHER! Table” that will feature NFL stars, CNN correspondents, International experts, notable Gen Z influencers and more having unity conversations over delicious food to build common ground across the political and ideological spectrum.

Log Line - Think Jada Pinkett’s Red Table Talk meets Anthony Bourdain’s dinner series.

I lost to all of these women. Whether it was a local, state or national pageant they all beat me. But I can confidently say that in losing the crown, I gained so much. Many of these women I am extremely close with still to this day. While I cheered them on during their year of service I gained a glimpse into the pressures, challenges, physical and mental hardships that come during a grueling year of being a titleholder. I recognized the importance of mental and physical health and how critical it is to a successful year. These are some of the amazing women that I have built @thepageantrx around. They inspired me to serve others in the pageant community. DM me today to get started so you can rock your next pageant and year in top notch mental and physical health!

Lips connect,
Burnished by red.

Emotions swell,
Brewing well.
Overflowing brim—
colored and not dim.

Twin city fall
Like walls tumbling in—
Lower lip touch
Caverned by
rose regalia.

She
chisels this mast—
sailing sense
Upper lip

So incredibly proud to launch a project I have been tirelessly working on. @rx14health is built straight from passion, love, experience and education. The goal is simple- to provide pageant contestants and industry individuals with the healthcare they deserve. Being a titleholder or artist is a grind and your mental and physical health don’t have to suffer. I’m here as a medical provider and former contestant who’s been in the trenches too. Whether it’s primary & urgent care needs, prescription refills, mental health care or coaching- I want to help you shine! Can’t wait to work with you!
