This lecture by Richard Campbell of @geological.agriculture was one of my favorite parts of @gogreenfashionista Voices of Sankofa event. The knowledge shared reminded me of lectures by other great agricultural experts like @chefchryssalmon and @geo_solutions of @overtownfarms and @dayoga_haiti and family. As more people embark on their own grow local movement, may such ideas inspire them as they work to feed their communities with healthy whole plant based nutrition. by @savemotherdotearth

Widget Wednesday post from @aguacate_gardenoflove where I was reflecting on the incredible @gogreenfashionista Voices of Sankofa event that took place on Monday. One of the speakers who stood out to me, spoke about Geological Agriculture. Will put that video on the next post. Grateful for the healers and the knowledge. taken in Aguacate Sanctuary of Love by @savemotherdotearth

In this video (full version on our YouTube channel link that is in our IG bio link tree) at Luna Verde Farmer’s Market, you see delicious Dragon Fruit (in Spanish, it is called La Pitaya or La Fruta Del Dragón. It is said to be good for digestion and it certainly is the case for me.

You also see other fruits like Mamey Sapote, Sorrel (called Jamaica like the Island or Hibiscus).

During our visit, we also got a chance to do an interview with Luna Verde founder Leo.

In his own words in both English and towards the end in Spanish, he talks about the great work being done there.

Be sure to stop by and get some of the delicious fruits, as well as vegetables like beets.

As well as a treat at @aguacate_gardenoflove Garden of Love next door. Some of the fan favorites from famous patrons like @gogreenfashionista (be sure to check out her channel also) such as the Super Bowl.

At @savemotherdotearth, we are all about showing love to planet and people.

While @aguacate_gardenoflove vegan juice bar and food place, I thought about efforts to put rain to good use.

Like the @miamidadewater program that may help you with your rain barrel project to collect rain water.

Even if you are not in Miami-Dade County, look into your area’s local resources for collecting rainwater.

We are going to put out a series of videos with @diylandlord.club on how folks can get help setting up their rain water collection setup.

As well as how they can get help with their clean energy journey and possibly their food garden. It is all part of our green sites focus on residential. taken in Aguacate Juice Bar by @savemotherdotearth

In this post I take you on a tour of the vegan composting and organic farming taking place @aguacate_gardenoflove. It is one of my favorite things that they do. Besides the delicious vegan food and drink, along with the people.

Ever since I visited Maui, the vegan composting and their other green practices left a positive lifetime mark on my thinking. What is taking place @aguacate_gardenoflove under the leadership of @dayoga_haiti and along with the leadership of Leo at the farm right next door reminds me of that.

That is why my green sites company @savemotherdotearth works on different aqua tech to improve water conservation and cleaning technology. Why we love to learn from the organic farming taking place @overtownfarms and @aguacate_gardenoflove.

As well as why we work on agra tech to support green organic farms and sites that are key to our well being. We also support Vegan farming, vegan nutrition and vegan composting. taken in Aguacate Juice Bar by @savemotherdotearth

@dayoga_haiti who runs green sites @wynnefarm ecological reserve in Haiti (along with her family) and @aguacate_gardenoflove in Miami. She is a gifted healer and here she is communicating in Haitian Creole, the prayer words of healer and wellness influencer @gogreenfashionista (the one proudly looking on in the back). Last Sunday, showcasing @aguacate_gardenoflove where the @gogreenfashionista Indigenous People’s Day Event took place. With brief cameo appearance by @dayoga_haiti who runs @aguacate_gardenoflove. Also showing the organic farm next door. @savemotherdotearth is all about showing love to green suburban role model sites like @aguacate_gardenoflove in Kendall, urban community food garden role model @overtownfarms in downtown Miami (volunteer day this Saturday at 9 am) and role model for rural sites @wynnefarm. To drive attention, capital and also tech to ensure the success and growth of such green sites. taken in Aguacate Juice Bar by @savemotherdotearth

Happy Thursday aka Friday Light @aguacate_gardenoflove where we are getting ready for August 9 Indigenous People’s Day put together by my friend Fab and get your tickets early via her IG @gogreenfashionista. It is one of the best events of the year with delicious vegan food, drink and amazing people. Be sure to support @whitneypadotenmb (see his IG bio for details) game night event tomorrow and vote for that good brother if you are in North Miami Beach. Also vote for my other friend @escarmentforfl for state senate. Be sure to vote in current ongoing location election of judges and especially for @judgemavelruiz and other folks recommended by @billycorben roster. We need such folks to protect and support green sites like @overtownfarms run by @chefchryssalmon, @aguacate_gardenoflove run @dayoga_haiti whose family also runs @wynnefarm. To your health and overall well being. taken in Aguacate Sanctuary of Love by @savemotherdotearth

Think about Day Zero @aguacate_gardenoflove = one of my favorite vegan food spots and green site that does vegan food composting. Support them by getting tickets (see @gogreenfashionista IG for details) to the August 9 Indigenous People’s Day event. Also register and vote, especially for @whitneypadotenmb, @escarmentforfl and others who are loyal to the people. Many cities in the US and around the world are facing risks from Day Zero, the term for when a city’s water supply runs dry and the population have to be moved. We need officials who will hold state regulators responsible for how energy, water and other resources are being deployed. taken in Aguacate Juice Bar by @savemotherdotearth
