Yesterday was a first for the @savoysgroup, we held our first course 📚

#2021Highlights 𝗜𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀.

We purchased a commercial premises and negotiated that the purchase came with some large garages for free, which the vendor agreed. We repurposed the commercial premises and then focused our attention to the garages.

We achieved planning at the first time of trying to convert the garages to a 3 Bed Mews House. Before completion rented the property out for 5 Years to 2 individuals who would be working on the HS2 line.

We please to announce that we have taken over full management of a mixed use block in the heart of Chertsey.

Chertsey is a town in the Borough of Runnymede in Surrey, England, 18 miles (29 km) south-west of central London. It grew up around Chertsey Abbey, founded in AD 666 by St Erkenwald, and gained a market charter from Henry I. A bridge across the River Thames first appeared in the early 15th century.

On Saturday we had over 80 people attend our 2 in 1 Commercial to Residential Site Visit.

Attendees visited one site where we are changing a defunct office space to 5 x 1 bedroom flats and another defunct office which is nearly completed as 2 x 1 bedroom flats.

We maybe coming to the end of August but we have now completed another Commercial to Residential project.

We took a former defunct office to create 6 residential flats.

The Government promised 1.5 million homes but Savills believes this number will be closer to be 700,000. We believe this lack of delivery will lead to more rental demand and increased rental inflation.

The team are pleased to announce we have taken over full property management of the Holland & Barrett site in Gerrards Cross on behalf of a Client.

Holland & Barrett (H&B), is a British-based multinational health and wellness retailer with over 1,300 stores in 16 countries, including a substantial presence in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Saudi Arabia, Lithuania and UAE.

Holland & Barrett was formed in 1870 by Major William Holland and Alfred Slapps Barrett, who bought a grocery store in Bishop’s Stortford, selling groceries and clothing.

They developed their business into two shops – a grocery store and a clothing store. It is also evident that in 1900 they occupied a store in the High Street of Epsom. In the 1920s, Alfred Button & Sons bought the business and kept the name Holland & Barrett.
