August was like Visa, everywhere I wanted to be.
Swipe for some stories. 👉🏽

A colleague once told me “every sunset you see, could be the last one you see…so take it in.”

That’s why I have so many pictures of them.

Coloring Book 3 was an album that annotated one of the most memorable years of my life. Had a blast celebrating 10 years in Raleigh with 7000 others. @chancetherapper is a gem. 💎

A friend told me that the best view of Toronto from the CN tower was actually in the restaurant..Not the observation deck.

Bone apple teeth 🍽️

There’s a song behind this drink, if you’ve ever been to Havana 59 you might know it…

I prefer streamers to confetti for concerts.
It looks like you’re doodling in the sky. ✍🏽➿

The R&B tour was one of the most visually stunning shows I’ve ever seen. Intentionality is a core value of the creative and I’m grateful for it! 🤩

It was at this moment, I realized the ceiling by the jellyfish tank was a mirror 🪞

Good Fried zucchini is the marker of a great Italian menu. @sixtyvines did NOT disappoint.

If I’m not working, lake side is where you’ll find me. 🇨🇦

@casonfunnelcakes makes the one thing I’ll toss my diet plan for. So glad to see them thriving (and not short on Cinnamon Toast Crunch)

89% sure I missed my stop multiple times on the metro while on vacation. 🚇

Last sunset of the month.

Supporting someone on social media costs you nothing.

Here’s a very quick way to support those you love while scrolling. 🎥

💜 Go to your settings > Saved and tap the “+“ to create a new collection. Title this one “friends“ or whatever suits your fancy.

💜 as you’re scrolling on the feed, tap the little ribbon icon and add your friends’ posts to your new collection.

Being a part of someone’s community means that you support them…even when what they’re marketing isn’t for you.

Take a few minutes and do this today.
Let’s have a year the builds others up. 💡

Come back throughout the year for more tips and social strategy tools.

Not every post needs a full production crew, a ring light, and 3 outfit changes 👀

Sometimes you just need a solid idea and the discipline to hit post.

Forever the one who says, “God gave me something fun to do.” 🥹📸

Six years ago, I started creating content because God called me to it.

I didn’t know where it would lead. I didn’t have a six-year strategy mapped out. I DEFINITELY didn’t know how many cameras, SD cards & gigabytes of storage I was about to buy. 😂

I just had an assignment.

And one YES turned into another.

Six years later, I still get to pick up a camera and capture people doing incredible things in their communities like the Salvation Army Red Shield Youth Center’s annual Run for Hope. ❤️

That’s the part I never want to lose sight of.

I don’t capture moments just because they look good on a feed. I capture them because stories matter. PEOPLE matter. And when God gives me the opportunity to document hope, joy, service, community & impact, I get to use the gifts He gave me to help tell that story.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” — Ephesians 2:10

I’m living proof that sometimes the “good works” God prepared for you are also REALLY fun. 😂

So yes, I’ll keep showing up with a camera in my hand.

I’ll keep creating. I’ll keep telling stories.

And I’ll keep saying YES as long as He keeps giving me something to do. 🙌🏾

Because honestly? I wouldn’t capture ANY of this without Him.

What’s a good story without the little things that color it in?

I love Behind the Scenes capture because it allows room for the laughter, the emotion, the unexpected moments that are not on a shot list…but they make up this beautiful life we’re given.

Here’s a peek into Sharla and Gregg’s story. 💙📹
Congratulations on a beautiful baby boy!

Toronto, at my own pace 🍁

#travel #chelschatter #christianblogger #toronto #randbtour

The transit system here is so connected that I got lost SEVERAL times and still made it where i needed to go on time. 😂 🚊

It has to be surreal to fly through the air to music you created. This concert was aesthetically beautiful 🤩

Green curry is my weakness.
& they put it in a coconut to cheer me up.

Thanks Pai!

Restaurants here are very intentional about atmosphere.

Everything that glitters isn’t gold. It could also be your smile. 😉

The sea houses some of the most fascinating creations.
Ripley’s did their thing with how they display and educate the public on them. 🐠

My favorite treat this trip was seeing Mario perform my jam. 🎶

What’s a little rain without the drip?

New addition to my lock screen gallery. 📸

The visual effects of the R&B tour should be studied.
I so enjoyed just watching it.

This jewelry store was so well branded, i had to stop.

I want to be a boba tea. 🧋

I see why they call this the “clean New York”

The first picture I took in the city. I think it’s saying something…

The Toronto islands looked so beautiful.
I can’t wait to visit forreal when I come back.

Cutest view at the top. ☺️

Blue Jays fans have it made every home game.⚾️💙

To know me is to know I love a firework, a fire pit, a fire show.
2/3 ain’t bad.

Mood going home.

I’m still basking in the beauty of The Garden Experience.

One of the greatest reminders from the evening is that no matter what season you’re in, God is still at work.

Whether you’re just being planted…
sprouting…
budding…
or walking in full bloom…

Know that God has a plan and a purpose for your life.

Every season serves a purpose. Every season is preparing you for what’s next.

So keep trusting.
Keep growing.
Keep blooming.

Your garden is still growing

Collaboration has been one of the greatest investments I’ve made in my creative journey. 👉🏽

📸: Devin Coleman, Chris House, Frankie James
🎥: Devin Coleman, Danielle Carter
💄: Janell Perkins
👗: Brittany Baker
🎈: Rosa Boone, Brittany Baker, Arabella Ivey

In a world that constantly tells us to compete, I’ve learned that some of the best work happens when talented people choose to create together.

Every photographer, videographer, designer, creative director, and storyteller I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside has brought a different perspective to the table.

Different eyes. Different experiences. Different strengths. And because of that, the final product has always been stronger than anything one of us could’ve created alone.

The creative industry doesn’t need more gatekeeping..it needs more open doors, shared opportunities, and people who are willing to say, “Come build this with me.”

So here’s your reminder:
🤝 Credit your collaborators.
📣 Recommend other creatives.
🎥 Second shoot when you can.
💡 Share knowledge freely.
✨ Celebrate each other’s wins

Your network isn’t just who you know…it’s who you’re willing to grow with.

Tag a creative you’ve loved collaborating with lately. Let’s give people their flowers. 💐

I tagged mine in each slide! 🤝
