Mon-Sun 4:30-6:00 pm they are serving up some delicious cocktails such as lychee martinis, old fashioned, French 75, beers, and wines.

They want to keep this a hidden gem, but I’m terrible at keeping a good food spot to myself 🤭🍂

Trading rooftop season for cozy Thai nights at Sawaan Thai, just a block from Bryant Park. Thai food literally never disappoints, and I loved the twists on some of the classics here. Everything was packed with flavor, the space was warm and inviting, and the sweetest staff made the whole experience even better. 🧡

This little spot deserves some attention—and a place on your dinner list.

Rainy nights + Thai food= the perfect cozy combo 🌧️🍂🥢

How is this Thai restaurant still a secret in NYC??? 👀

Found this little hidden gem and now I’m wondering how I’ve lived here this long without knowing about it. The food was SO good and the whole place has that cozy, intimate vibe that makes you immediately want to gatekeep it.

Anyway… I’m feeling generous.

📍Sawaan Thai serves up classic Southeast Asian dishes with a really nice, modern touch. It’s a great option if you’re around Midtown and looking for solid, flavorful Thai food in a comfortable setting. 👍 The menu has a great mix of comforting staples and unique twists that are easy to share. 😋

-> 🐟 Kamin Branzino
-> 🥩 Crispy Pork Kra Pow
-> 🍲 Lychee Chicken Tom Kha

Every bite here hits completely different 😋. The Crispy Pork Kra Pow was very flavorful and had a nice crunch to it while the Pad Kee Mao was packed with that smoky wok heat and had a nice kick to it. My favorite was the Tom Kha soup tbh though 😋. Its a coconut based thai style soup thats just so good 👌. If you love big, complex Thai flavors done right, Sawaan is a total must-try 😆.

🥩 Yum Jeaw Beef Brisket – Tender, braised beef brisket tossed with sliced shallots, scallions, sweet tomatoes, and an addictive, spicy-tangy chili tamarind dressing
🐟 Kamin Branzino – A show-stopping whole branzino fried to golden, crunchy perfection, coated in aromatic turmeric and a mountain of crispy fried garlic
🍜 Beef Shank Khao Soi – Chewy egg noodles swimming in a rich, velvety Northern-style coconut curry broth, topped with fork-tender braised beef shank, pickled mustard greens, shallots, and cilantro.
🦐 Seafood Pad Cha – A fiery, sizzling stir-fry loaded with plump shrimp, squid, and mussels tossed with fresh chili, garlic, rhizome, pungent Thai green peppercorns, and sweet basil
