Not even a rainy Sydney Saturday could keep everyone away from the little pink shop! 🩷

@georgiadrawsahouse officially opened her shopfront today and it was PACKED!

We celebrated the opening, Georgia’s new roomie @studioinnerwest annnd both their birthdays!

There was fairy bread, cake, cookies, a giant colouring wall, drawing in the rain, mini junk journaling workshops and shelves full of goodies from some amazing small creative businesses (including a few Say Hello faves!).

I’ve had The Love Hypothesis on my TBR for years & I finally read it last night! I loved it so decided to watch the movie but guys, I don’t think I can finish it 😩
How can they take such a great book, full of swoon-worthy moments, and completely remove all of the swoon?
The friendship dynamic - changed
The fake relationship dynamic - changed
The moments that made us fall in love - gone!

To everyone who said hello this weekend,
I just wanted to say a big thank you for making @realfestival such an incredible experience.
The Say Hello you saw this weekend is the culmination of twenty years of experimenting. Twenty years of trying to fit into a box and be what I thought I needed to be so that people would connect with and support this little business dream of mine.
Earlier this year, I decided to stop trying to be something for everyone and instead focus on creating things that I love and would actually buy myself.
I hoped that if I did that, I would find the bookish girlies like me. The ones who love books, bows and pretty things that complement our style and the books we love.
The girlies who were looking for small-batch, handmade quilted accessories that were made to be used and made to last.
And I am so grateful that so many of you found me this weekend.
Seeing you pick things up, get excited about the fabrics and understand what I was trying to create made me feel like I had finally found my people.
To those of you who were already following along and came to say hello, thank you. It meant so much to see you and for some, finally meet you in person.
To the new girlies who said hello for the first time this weekend, I’m so happy you found me.
And to everyone who purchased something, shared my work or simply stopped for a chat, thank you for supporting this little dream of mine.
I am so excited to keep creating for you all.
