We had a fabulous time with Rachel and Rod @thewoolshoprangiora shopping up a storm before heading to @waiparawinehouse for a fabulous long lunch, knitting included.

Every piece of art in @georgiadrawsahouse new shop is made by someone I know (seriously my favourite kind of shop!)

So as each customer waited for me to ring up their purchases I told them about the person behind the work and asked if they’d follow them on socials and give them a shout out. It’s little things like that that make such a difference to a small business

One of the BEST bits about opening this little shop is getting to fill the shelves with work from artists I’ve watched have a crack, back themselves + build something really fckn cool 🥹

And now I get to sell their art in my SHOP!!!

it seems to me that if you can claim work stationery from a big box store as a deduction then SURELY you can claim a handbound notebook (maaaaayyyyybe even a percentage of one you make yourself 😏🫣🤔)
