Naruto has been such a big part of my childhood, so I’m really happy that I could use it as the subject of my first long-form novel. The production process was honestly quite challenging. I kept revising and adjusting different scenes, and made countless small tweaks along the way. Unfortunately, I didn’t save some of the earliest drafts, because I think seeing the contrast between those drafts and the final version would have been even more interesting XD Anyway, this story is dedicated to all of you. (This trailer focuses on The Serpent and the Scalpel, specifically the fifth major arc of the original novel.) 午後樹下｜Afternoon Under the Tree 紗夜撥開了草叢，終於發現了那個身影。 她手中抱著資料，他看著在底下的鹿丸，是奈良一族一貫的造型，她找到人了。 「紗夜大人？！」躺在草地上的青年原本慵懶地看著天空，注意到來者後赫然坐起身，本來還想站起來，見紗夜擺擺手朝自己走來，便又停了下來。 「原來你在這裡......這地點很不錯。」她環視了一下周圍。這個位置是木葉村靠南邊的一處空地，遠處有一座鄰近的訓練場，不過這區域因為離主要商業區以及火影大樓稍遠，所以鮮少有人會經過。 以偷閒來說，是個好地點呢。 「紗夜大人不用自己來找我吧，讓人通知一聲不就好了。」鹿丸搔了搔頭，一臉困擾的模樣。 「如果讓人來通知，我不就沒辦法順便摸魚了嗎？」 鹿丸一愣。 「……原來妳也是來摸魚的啊。」 紗夜沒有回答，只是在他旁邊找了個位置坐下。 鹿丸看了她一眼，撇了撇嘴，最後重新躺回草地上。 Sayo parted the grass and finally found him. “Sayo-sama?!” Shikamaru had been lazily staring at the sky from the grass. He quickly sat up, about to stand, but stopped when Sayo waved him off. With documents in her arms, Sayo looked down at him. “So this is where you were… Not a bad spot.” She glanced around. The clearing was on the southern edge of Konoha, near a training ground and far from the busy streets and Hokage’s office. A pretty good place to slack off. “You didn’t have to come looking for me yourself, Sayo-sama. You could’ve just sent someone to find me.” “If I did that, I wouldn’t get to slack off too.” Shikamaru paused. “…So you’re here to slack off too.” Sayo said nothing. She simply sat down beside him. 楔子 海報｜Prelude poster 沒想到會淪落到這一步...... 不，其實她早就知道了，只是內心不願意承認罷了，總是把每一個人的死亡當作藉口，期許未來能夠帶給木葉更好的未來。 在那個未來抵達以前，他們雙手早已沾滿鮮血。 I never thought it would come to this... No. Deep down, she had known all along. She simply refused to admit it, always using each person’s death as an excuse, hoping that one day she could bring a better future to Konoha. Before that future ever arrives, their hands are already stained with blood. =========== 為了避免跟動畫影片的封面撞...重發海報！ 之後的貼文，除了動畫影片都會避免出現LOGO的 🙏 開心的溫暖小日常要結束了！接下來就要開始更新正傳小說中的動畫假截圖，這會是漫長的旅程，我感到興奮。 我其實很不滿意之前IG發的蛇紗那篇海報，所以我為了楔子重做了一張（楔子的橋段也是正劇的內容，是第五大篇喔！）這是我認為蛇與解剖刀的故事當中最大的鉤子，所以選作為楔子。 這張海報大概在我心目中是80分吧，未來還要努力精進。目前還在苦惱畫風太像韓漫，不過目前還沒找到解法就是了......Orz 謝謝你的支持！ To avoid having the poster look too similar to the cover of the animation video, I’m reposting the poster! From now on, I’ll be starting to post fake animation screenshots from the main story of the novel. It’s going to be a long journey, and I’m really excited about it. Honestly, I wasn’t very satisfied with the Orochimaru & Sayo poster I posted on Instagram before, so I decided to remake it for the Prologue. The scene in the Prologue is actually part of the main story as well—it’s from the fifth major arc! I consider this to be the biggest hook in The Serpent and the Scalpel, which is why I chose it as the Prologue. I’d say this poster is about an 80/100 in my eyes. There’s still a lot I want to improve in the future.
