Henry was presented with an AI-written poem and one that isn't slop. Did Henry guess correctly?

And what a way to start the weekend…

This Friday, Stu Freestone & The Lights return at the gorgeous @rise_bluebird at Bluebird Bakery, Acomb in York for our final band show of the year.

An evening of poetry, folk, storytelling, music, laughter and probably a few things that weren’t in the original plan. I mean, I’d rather be honest. 🤣

We’ll be joined by the superb @isadora.darling, who’ll be opening the night with her beautiful songs and stories.

Doors at 7pm.
🎟️ Tickets still available and you can also grab them on the door.
As a drunken Delia Smith once said…”Let’s be havin’ you!”

Come and spend your Friday night with us and step into the lights.

love x

Did you know the Say Owt gang have some solo shows coming up?

8th October @davieswords_tsw has her beautiful show The Ballad of Blea Wyke at @theatre41york. A story-telling show about magic, the sea and selkies. Support comes from a'cappella coven PitchWitches

9th October @stufreestonepoet is performing at @rise_bluebird with the Lights, his brilliant backing band fusing spoken word and folk tunes telling heartfelt tales. Plus support from our good friend @isadora.darling

14th October @henry_raby is performing his solo show, Hope & Anger at @yorktheatreroyal. A hilarious and heartfelt attempt to understand the righteous and the rotten, come and share in fist-clenched frustration and celebrate examples of the world, and the heartfelt people in it, at their shiniest and brightest.
