Back with Part 2 of my @worldmarket walkthrough! You can find some pretty kooky things here (and I certainly did), but there are always some great finds mixed in. Here’s what else caught my eye!

What a pleasure it was to bring my The Modern Masters’ Table to life for @kappatablescapes 2026! I am honored to be among the talented designers participating in this wonderful fundraiser in support of such a meaningful cause.

I’m sharing a little behind-the-scenes look at the making of our tablescape and the finished design.

Fall is here, and I’ve always felt that seasonal decorating should last longer than a single holiday. I like to bring in the feeling of fall through deeper colors, warm candlelight, natural textures, and a few unexpected pieces that feel collected. The best part is that they can stay in place well beyond Halloween.

I’m sharing more of my approach to fall decorating in The Witching Hour blog, along with a ShopMy edit of pieces I love for bringing that same feeling into your home. Find both through the link in bio.

Years ago, an Italian friend gave my husband and I this Murano glass decanter shaped like a Phylloxera, the tiny insect that devastated European vineyards in the 19th century. I’ll admit, at first I thought it was a little odd.

Over the years, I’ve grown to love it. There’s something wonderfully ironic about using the very pest that nearly destroyed European wine production as a vessel for wine. It’s unusual, has a great story, and has become one of those objects I would never part with.

Looking back, this is a project that still really speaks to me. I’ve always been drawn to richer, more grounded tones, and I love how warm and inviting this home feels.

The family came from the East Coast, and preserving that sensibility was important. Muted colors, depth, and a sense of history give the home a collected, timeless quality.

It’s Pumpkin Spice Latte season, my favorite time of year. Pumpkin represents the warmth and richness of the autumn season. In my interiors, this color is a sophisticated accent when layered with intention. Moving through three different rooms in this home, we used it to tie the spaces together.

The soft curve of the back was what drew me to it first. This elegant sectional sofa from Jan Showers fit the requirements for my Meatpacking District penthouse living room perfectly.

I needed a piece that acted as a room divider in the open floor plan. It had to look great from the back as that was the first thing you saw when entering the apartment. This sofa has a timeless feel, but more importantly it blends formality with modern sensibility, which is exactly what this space called for.

We upholstered it in a sand mohair on the front and a black and cream silk horizontal stripe following the curve of the streamlined back. The wood frame is an elegant Palisander gloss wood adding to the refined, luxe feel of the space.

Phase 1 of install at our Montecito project. Trucks lined up, boxes labeled and mapped to every room, months of drawings finally taking shape. Organized chaos is the best way. We can’t wait to see this all come together.

A bedroom designed with quiet color. Gray, cream, taupe and plum move through the space as one continuous thread, grounding clean lines and simple furniture silhouettes. Quiet, casual luxury was our intention for this Connecticut primary suite design.

A family room Nancy Meyers would approve of. Blues, tans, rich woods, and traditional silhouettes, nothing precious about any of it. We designed this room for real living, the kind that never goes out of style.
