Port City Review: The Unraveling Issue

Right now, we’re all hoping to make something of ourselves. We’re building our lives on our own terms, maybe for the very first time. Becoming older, wiser – more of the person we’d like to be.

Sometimes we’re forced to untangle the threads tying us to our past; sometimes we want to do everything we can to sew them tighter together.

For our 2027 issue, we’re inviting you to explore what you’ve had to untangle, what you’ve had to bind tight.

What threads have you woven into the tapestry of your life? What have you had to rip from the seams? What have you had to tear apart, or even shatter? What can you make out of those pieces?

What has your passion forced you to split and sever? How have you crumbled or, better yet, come together? What are you holding in that you need to release?

We want exploration, dissection, catharsis. A breath of fresh air, your heart in your throat. Loose threads and tight knots.

We want to see you unravel.
