I had the pleasure of spending two days in Reno and got to work with Cian Stack. Cian just finished his freshman year at UNR and has a high potential. He’s being asked by his coaches to block more in punt schemes and informed me that he wanted to work with me to improve his blocking steps, technique and snap to block transition. Blocking is something that separates the men from the boys and can frequently be a hindrance when not done properly. Cian did a great job accepting the changes he needed to make and is a on a bright path for the future.

Right now is the perfect time work on your craft and make the necessary changes to set you apart from the pack. We have months until season starts, college camps are coming up and some already going on. Invest in yourself and put your best foot forward for this upcoming season. DM me and let’s improve your game! by @scaleslongsnapping

An optimized set up is 🔑 for snappers. It will allow a clean transfer of energy into the snap and ultimately increase consistency and accuracy. Notice how the snaps didn’t go into the target? We’re chasing the process, brick by brick. When you chase the process of continuous improvement, the results will follow. When you chase results and skip the process, results will vary.

Now is the perfect time to start chasing the process. We have months before any training camps start up. Make sure your process is set before you show up. If you want to get some work in and improve your process, DM me.

Kickers and punters near Chicago…share with your snappers! Bears long snapper from 2015-2024, Pat Scales, is hosting a long snapping skills camp. Lots of individual attention, smallish camp, NFL - level instruction. Amazing opportunity! DM @scaleslongsnapping for details. #LongSnapping #chicagosnappers #kickingcoach #NFLSnapper #illinoishighschoolfootball taken in Fenton High School by @scaleslongsnapping

I had a blast working with UNR’s long snapper & consulting their special teams unit last week, and cannot wait to be back in Reno & out west again soon‼️

Developing long snappers is truly a dream come true and I’m so excited for what’s to come 🙌🏼

I’m so excited to start working with more programs to prep them for season and give them an edge on the field 🏈 taken in University of Nevada, Reno by @scaleslongsnapping

Last weekend’s long snapping camp in Dallas was so much fun and I cannot wait for more to come 🏈

Thanks to all of the snappers who joined me and their families for trusting me to coach, mentor and walk beside their athletes as they chase big dreams.

Whether I was chasing a college scholarship or a roster spot in the NFL- I never had a mentor could lean on and turn to for advice and coaching, and I’m so grateful that I can fill that void for future long snappers.

If you’re serious about long snapping and refining your technique DM me today. I’d love the opportunity to show you why @scaleslongsnapping is different than the rest 💥

I’ve got one more camp on the books for this Spring- grab your spot for the May 30’s Chicago camp today 🙌🏻 taken in Dallas, Texas by @scaleslongsnapping

I’m so excited to get on the field tomorrow with each and every one of the snappers who is joining me for camp this weekend in Dallas 💥🏈

If you’re wanting to join a camp I have one more this month in Chicago on May 30

I’ve heard from so many of you about hosting a camp out West so I’m considering a camp in Utah at the beginning of July. Let me know if you’d be interested in a spot

Where are you wanting to see a camp? Tell me in the comments ⬇️ taken in Dallas, Texas by @scaleslongsnapping

Thank you to the Roberts Family for this amazing review.

I am so grateful for the families who trust me and the kids I get to coach 🏈

I am passionate about coaching, mentoring and walking beside athletes as they chase their dreams- whether it’s making your HS roster as the LS, getting a college scholarship, or making an NFL team- I’m here for all of it, and cannot wait to grow, fine tune and mentor the next generation of long snappers

@scaleslongsnapping is just getting started, and I’m so excited for what’s to come ‼️ taken in Kansas City, Missouri by @scaleslongsnapping
