In August of 2024 our world was flipped upside down overnight, and then again 7 months later when we hit free agency for the first time in 11 years.

2025 felt like walking through a nightmare every single day. Clinging to hope, fighting for a chance, and praying for a call.

We knew something had to change when the New Year rang. So, we promised to pick ourselves up, get moving, and start working towards something new- something bigger than playing- and a way to stay in the game with a bigger impact- serving the next generation.

And while we’re still praying for a call and to get back on the field, we’re filing our days of free agency by giving back to the next generation. And somehow, it feels like this was His plan all along- to get up, recoup, give back, and keep moving forward.

✨Better days are coming, and I cannot wait to see you back on the field @patscales48, in whatever aspect that might be 🏈

If you haven’t followed @scaleslongsnapping be sure to join the journey over there 🙌🏼

#tbt to when I got to speak to the @usufootball team about chasing the dream 🏈💥

Going from a walk on at Utah State to an 11 year NFL veteran was something most people would tell you couldn’t have been done.

But let me tell you- nothing is impossible when you want it bad enough.

Work hard, keep your head down, and take every day at a time.

It won’t be easy, but it’ll all be worth it.

Sharing my story & encouraging the next generation to never give up on their dreams is something I’m passionate about. Whether you’re a little league coach, an athletic advisor, a collegiate coach- or anywhere in between- I’d love the opportunity to share my story with your teams and show kids that anything is possible with a lot of hard work, grit and never letting no crush your spirit.

Contact me today and let’s inspire the next generation 🙌🏻
