Episode 10 of season 2 is out now with @buckmeek. Host @plrchrds talks to the guitarist and co-founder of @bigthiefmusic, about his fourth solo album, The Mirror.

They discuss life on tour with Big Thief, including a pool of around ninety songs, setlists written just before they walk on stage, and how songs like “Incomprehensible” keep changing. They also talk about making The Mirror with Big Thief’s James Krivchenia, including the opening track “Gasoline,” singing his vocals from the front porch where he wrote the songs, and recording through wildfire warnings.

Chloe Howard from @limegardenband talks to host @plrchrds about why Gen Z has been robbed of fun, and how that shaped Maybe Not Tonight, an album conceived as a night out from start to finish.

They discuss the cost of living, being filmed and scrutinised constantly, two years of barely speaking to each other due to COVID, and why they need to stop being so hard on themselves. Full episode link in bio. by @scaredtodance
