POSTS STORIES REELS

Growing up, we imagine our lives playing out like the movies. The hero’s journey, the great love story, the feeling that an extraordinary adventure is waiting for us.

But what happens when we chase our dreams and life doesn’t quite follow the script?

Hollywood is Over was written with nostalgia and disillusionment in mind, coming to terms with the difference between the world we imagined and the one we are living in.

The song also reflects the actual transformation of the entertainment industry, and the uncertainty that lies ahead.

Hope you’ll give it a spin 💿
Special thanks to:

There’s a lot wrapped up in this one.

Frustration. Desire. Distraction. The feeling of wanting escape but not exactly knowing where to go.

Writing and performing this song provided a way to let some of this out.

We’ve been hearing comparisons to several of my favorite bands from growing up, curious what you hear.

Streaming everywhere. Link in bio.

Going harder on this one. Pre save in bio by @scarlet.cinema

Scarlet Cinema started as a sonic vision, then became a world.

Monochrome until something breaks.

Old Hollywood mystique and cinematic escape.

Gilded Age is next. This one goes harder. Pre-save link in bio.

A few months ago, Scarlet Cinema was just a collection of songs and ideas.

Today I uploaded the next single, “Gilded Age.”

Thank you to everyone who has listened to, shared, and supported “The Clouds Are Coming.” The response to a project that’s been over a year in the making has meant a lot.

Excited to share what’s next.

Today makes the launch of a new chapter with @scarlet.cinema debut release of ‘The Clouds Are Coming’

Scarlet Cinema is a project inspired by the music I grew up with and return to today. It’s an attempt to bring a fresh perspective to alt rock through cinematic textures, modern production, and layered songwriting.

This first track is an introduction into this world, and a glimpse into what’s ahead sonically and thematically.

A huge thank you to everyone directly involved with the record, including @tonycorrelli (mixing/rec) @brianpottsmusic (drums/rec) and @iamjaehouston (art direction)
