🚨NEW VENDOR ALERT!!🚨

Scattered Records is a label based in the Washington DC area. Owner Mike Ritter started the label to release his band Silent Island’s ep “Pleasure Party”, a lovely collection of indie pop/surf-punk songs. Since then the label has become an outlet for Mike to release indie rock and punk rock bands from the Washington DC area Recent releases include albums by Tired All The Time (a synth-pop band featuring Teen Mortgage drummer Ed Barakauskas) and shoegaze band TORO.

As well as releasing DC area bands, Scattered Records also distributes DC area record labels to record stores. Labels Scattered Records currently distributes include Dischord Records (Fugazi, Minor Threat, Rites Of Spring, etc), A La Carte Records (post-punk, synth-pop, goth, shoegaze, electronica, post-hardcore), Live & Learn Records (early-mid 1980s roots reggae) and Purple Circle Records (operated by Ned Russin, Glitterer/Title Fight back catalog releases). Record stores, contact Mike for wholesale!

Along with Scattered Records’ releases and distributed records, Scattered will also be selling an assortment of used classic rock, punk, new wave, alternative, soul, jazz and reggae records at the upcoming event.

Does Mike actually have so many hands? Is he secretly Doc Ock? Only you can find out by coming to the New Castle Punk Rock Flea Market, this Sunday from 12-5PM! by @scatteredrecords.ig
