Due to a medical emergency involving our drummer @fuulm8 , Sceptocrypt will not be able to take part in @renaissance_alternative_music Festival 12th Edition!

While we thank the festival for being understanding, we please invite you to join the band in wishing our drummer Mark a speedy recovery!

Meanwhile, our guitarist Malcolm @coolgoolmusic solo show at 7pm at same festival runs as scheduled, offering a whole improvised set of classic guitar & extra weirdness, including some future Sceptocrypt riffs (a once-only rare experience in itself)

Come and support the whole festival - look at that line-up!

We are also still taking pre-orders for our new T-shirt design at https://sceptocrypt.bigcartel.com/product/wards-TS
Ships from next week October!

The ritual is complete...

Formed in Malta in 1992, praised internationally for its progressive, genre-defying approach, Sceptocrypt has revived in recent years in UK with new music, and a renewed line-up. Sceptocrypt now defines its sound as Extreme Music Research—an uncompromising blend of technicality, experimentation, and artistic expression. With a new full-length album in development, the journey continues.

@renaissance_alternative_music Tomorrow at 3.45pm at 229 Great Portland Street (just outside Great Portland Street Station)

- 26 metal/goth/industrial/rock/prog/experimental/electronic/acoustic bands/solo acts on 3 separate stages (no clashes on main 2 stages)
- 6 art exhibitions
- 4 DJs
- chess club
- retro videogames
- poetry corner

I am one of the solo acts playing a rare improvised set on the classic guitar at 7pm on the Archer Stage.

Initially, my band @sceptocrypt was also billed to play the main RAM stage, but we sadly had to pull out as our drummer suffered a stroke last Saturday.
He will not be able to play till earliest January, so this will be my last live appearance until sometime next year.

If interested to come support, but mostly to have a good vibe, all info (& cheaper advance tix up until tonight) are available from link in bio!

Thanks

Goth-kissed blackened doom @themedeaproject have invited us and post-doom lovelies @_riverbanduk for a mourning 40min set each at @thefightingcocks in Kingston this Sunday 13th.

Doors at 730pm. Sceptocrypt is 1st on from 8pm.

We are particularly elated to be part of this bill as all bands have their own unique style and differ from each other.
