WRO was never an easy task!

• New missions on top of the original rules
• No coach by the kids’ side
• 90 minutes to code, strategise and problem-solve — all by the kids

Through training, kids learn to make calls under pressure and code their robots for different situations, all under a tight timeframe. Every child who walked into this competition deserves our respect — the skills they built will stay with them for life.

❤️ To our parents — you are, without question, the best support system for these kids. A lot of you were probably surprised by what your kids pulled off. Not every team stands on the podium but that doesn’t make the journey mean any less. SOR will keep showing up for every one of these kids, helping them grow into thinkers and problem-solvers, not just competitors.

And to our coaches — seriously, go rest. 😄 The late nights, the anxious moments, the endless run-throughs — you’ve earned every bit of downtime coming your way. We are so proud to have you on this team. Not just because you helped these kids win, but because of what you actually taught them: how to stand on their own, think for themselves, and shine without you next to them.

Well done, everyone. We’re proud of you. ❤️

WRO 2026 Achievements:

🥇 Singapore Robomission Overall Champion

🥉 Robomission 3rd Place
🥇 Robomission Ingenuity Award
⭐ Side Quest 1 Champion
⭐ Side Quest 2 Champion

⭐ Side Quest 5 Champion

🥇 Singapore Future Innovator Overall Champion

We have done it again — and in record-breaking fashion! 🎉 SOR is proud to be crowned NRC Overall Champions once again, continuing the legacy we’ve built over the years 👑✨ 3x NRC Overall Champion — 2023, 2025, 2026!

This time, we topped every single category on the board. Out of 7 awards up for grabs at NRC this year, our students brought home 6! 🔥

🏆 NRC 2026 Overall Champion
🏆 Best Robot Performance – Champion
🥈 Best Robot Performance – 2nd Place
🥉 Best Robot Performance – 3rd Place
🏆 Best Presentation – Champion
🎖️ Best Presentation – Top 3

Six trophies, endless practices, and so much teamwork to get here!

To our students
Congratulations to our 5 winning teams — you did it! We can’t wait to see you excel on the international stage.

And to the rest of our teams, you represented SOR with just as much heart. The hours you put in (some of you trained past midnight!) and the way you showed up for each other — that’s the real win. Thank you for pushing through such a demanding checkpoint. Even without a trophy, you’ve walked away with skills no classroom could teach.

To our coaches
Thank you for pushing the students to think outside the box and helping them grasp complex engineering concepts. And thank you for putting in the work yourselves, all under such a tight timeline.

To our parents
Thank you for cheering from the sidelines, ferrying your kids to countless practice sessions, and running through robot routines and presentation scripts with them again and again — until you knew the scripts by heart too. This win is yours as much as theirs. 💛

Behind every robot built, every competition won, and every ‘we did it!’ moment, there’s a teacher who showed up, believed in our students, and made learning feel like an adventure 🤖💛 This Teachers’ Day, we handed the mic to our students and their answers said it all. 🥹

From the patience it takes to explain a tricky coding concept for the third time, to the encouragement before walking into a competition venue, to simply making every class something to look forward to, our coaches pour so much into every child who walks through our doors. And it doesn’t go unnoticed, not by us, and definitely not by the students.

Thank you SOR coaches, for shaping not just skilled builders and coders, but confident, curious kids. Happy Teachers’ Day! 💛

And to our SOR family: we’d love to hear from you too, who’s a teacher who made a real difference for your child? Tell us in the comments below! 👇
