Sunday before last I had the pleasure of singing at my friends' wedding in lil old St. Ippolyts - strangely more nervous than most gigs!

🌞😎🎉✨

I couldn't find a backing track to God Only Knows (or Nich yaka misyachna although I won't share that as I imagine my Ukrainian could do with some work!) that I liked for the performance (I was hoping to find one of the Glen Campbell cover) so I decided to make my own in the #mancave studio...

Congratulations again to @cwelchdesign + Nadika (Ukrainian colours includes in the vid courtesy of @charlotte__bateman).

“Storm clouds may gather
And stars may collide
But I love you
Until the end of time”

C&J Larmer Tree Gardens

This day will be a day that stays with me for a long time. Hearing James and Charlotte sing this song as the rain came down outside was just magical. So many musical talents and so many beautiful moments ✨

Couple of Siegmund covers and a concert of Act 1 coming up!

Spending this afternoon feeling delirious and somehow *practicing*... What do we think of this kind of dancing and Wagner?

✨

Also - what should be next? Fast Food Rockers Forging song? Ride of the Macarena Valkyries? ...maybe I should never direct... Either way, happy weekend all!

IMPECCABLE SCENES from Sam & Siân’s stunning wedding at Kingston Estate! 🤩🔥💍

Content captured by the incredible - @weddingsbywinnie_ 👏👏👏♥️

Sam booked us as a COMPLETE surprise for his beautiful bride Siân and all of their guests… and it’s safe to say, IT WENT OFF! 🙌

Our fabulous Singing Waiter James had the entire room on their feet, dancing, singing, napkins waving, conga lines flying around the room and everyone celebrating the happy couple in the most EPIC way! 🎤🕺🔥

The atmosphere was absolutely electric. One of those weddings where you just look around and think… THIS is what it’s all about. ❤️

A HUGE shoutout to Sam for secretly organising the whole thing and trusting us to be part of such an incredible day. What a surprise. What a crowd. What a WEDDING! 🥂

We’re so grateful to have been a part of it and we already can’t wait to return to the ridiculously beautiful Kingston Estate.

Sam & Siân - wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter and plenty more moments exactly like this one. ❤️

WHAT. A. VIBE. 🔥🔥🔥

Hugely excited and grateful to announce I'll be covering Oedipus in WNO's Double Bill of Oedipus Rex and Bluebeard's Castle this autumn.

✨🧑‍🧑‍🧒👑🗡️💔🥄👀

It's my 3rd stint with WNO over the last couple of years (brilliant lot!) but my first shot at a big boy tenor cover for a big boy opera house.

I'm in Cardiff until October 3rd and then we tour - come say hi if you're in the area or even better, come watch... I'm also loitering around a café in Boheme!

The incomparable James Schouten bringing the house down with Nessun Dorma as the grand finale at Sam & Siân’s incredible wedding. 🎶🔥

Sam booked us as a HUGE surprise for absolutely everyone - friends, family and, most importantly, his beautiful new wife, Siân. Safe to say… the surprise went down an absolute STORM. 🤩

What a wedding. What a crowd. What a moment. ❤️

Thank you so much for trusting us with such a special part of your day, Sam. We wish you and Siân a lifetime of love, laughter and more moments just like this. You guys are absolutely incredible!

A massive shoutout to all the brilliant suppliers we had the pleasure of working alongside - and, of course, the RIDICULOUSLY stunning Kingston Estate. What a venue. 😍🔥

This Dutchman's *flying* visit to @wagnerfestival - what a spectacle - incredible acoustic, fantastic singing and a brilliant experience!

Lovely to meet a load of international musicians and a great bunch from the UK to spend a couple of days with.

Thank you @thewagnersociety and @richardwagnerscholarship for the scholarship!

Back to blighty!
