💌 a love note to our debut matcha offering:
💚 the east side first harvest matcha is a single-origin, single-cultivar matcha made from the samidori variety and grown in shizuoka prefecture in japan 🇯🇵
🩷 carefully selected for its vivid color, creamy texture, and balanced umami & sweetness 🍃🍵
🌊 named as a tribute to the east side of santa cruz, it brings a matcha we love to the place we love the most 💚 taken in Santa Cruz, California by @scmatchaco

🍯 Rivas Bees × SC Matcha Co. 🍵

@rivas_honey_watsonville invited us out to the field to collab on a new recipe straight from the source: salted honey cold foam 💚

their signature local honey paired with santa cruz matcha co’s new unreleased matcha product and a whole lot of bees doing the hard work. plus, I only got stung once 😅🐝

see recipe below 🍯🍵👀
1 cup cream
2 tbsp @rivas_honey_watsonville honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp flakey sea salt
combine in a cold jar with a whisk or an immersion blender until cold foam just begins to hold structure, pour over your favorite iced matcha and top with an extra pinch of flakey salt for a delicious sweet and salty foam top treat 💚 taken in Watsonville, California by @scmatchaco

💌 ooo & dnd lately…

we’ve been a little quieter over here, working with our suppliers in japan, building our wholesale business and making space for what’s next.

more single-origin + single-cultivar matcha products, and a @scmatchaco story that feels more true to our santa cruz roots and the central coast community we call home.

consider this your first hint 👀🍵❤️‍🔥

a slow matcha morning at The Sea Ranch Lodge 🍵🌊

taking a little time to zen out, clear my head, and make space for what’s next. santa cruz matcha company is heading into a new chapter, with a rebrand on the horizon and a lot of ideas we’re excited to bring to life.

sometimes you have to slow down long enough to see where you’re going 💚

big shoutout to @dgsc and @thesearanchlodge for hosting me for a few days and giving me the space to reset and reflect 🙏
