Yesterday we celebrated a memorial to John Beam's legacy as the Laney college head football coach extraordinaire! Taken from us too early. A Netflix special gave us insight into his faithful public service and community leadership he selflessly provided to many in the East Bay!

I'm proud to share he was one of us - a Kearny Komet class of '77! Number 60 on the Eastern CIF championship football team under Coach Slater.

Let's create a scholarship in his name as a symbol of what Komets rise up to do! May his Komet be always a guiding light in our lives!!! May we unite our Kearny Komet alumni together in his honor! I pledge the first $100 and I hope you will join me in this effort! Peace be with you all!

Great weekend at the US Eventing Association's annual conference!
Poker tournament was outstanding Jonathan Elliott came in first and Rooster Gregory Benson came in second!!!
Great programs and luncheons put together by team lead Jennifer Hardwick !!!

We also showed the movie Hoof Dreams with the riders joining us for Q&A. Thank you horse park at Woodside! A grand weekend was had by all! Thank you USEA for putting on a nice event! by @scoringchix
