The Abbey Road Gobos!

David Boyle at Church House Studio asked me to build a set of these for him and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Big thanks to my old pal, David Del Valle for the amazing job fabricating the frames. It’s always so satisfying to see a project like this go from scratches on a piece of paper to a finished set of tools that will serve a studio and its clients for years to come. Holler if you want some! taken in Austin, Texas by @scottcatx

Hey beautiful people,

“Shake It Off” is officially yours.

This one is a true labor of love. I poured my whole heart into it.
I’ve never felt this much pressure before a release — but someone once told me, “That’s a good thing. It means you care.”

That stayed with me.

I’ve done my part.
Now it’s your turn, 🤓

Go stream it. Re-stream it.
Like it. Share it. Dance to it.
Send it to someone who needs it.

And tell me how it makes you feel 🤍

To everyone who’s been here since day one — and to those just discovering the music — your support means more than you know.

I love y’all deeply.

Another big project for @thedoctorofsound @cedar.creek.studio. The piano iso room was originally the control room and they built this weird little alcove for the tape machine. I tore all of that out and replaced it with this sexy bass trap/diffuser. Doubled the size of their storage room on the backside of this wall too. by @scottcatx

I’ve spent the last 3 weeks building these monster gobos for Andre over at Cedar Creek Studio. Turned out great! #recordingstudios #gobos taken in Driftwood, Texas by @scottcatx
