Lawyers, Guns and Money, our tribute to the songs of Warren Zevon is tomorrow night (Tuesday 20th) at @oranmorglasgow with @celtic_connections! Last rehearsal yesterday and the BVs, Sax and additional guitar and keys joined us and it was sounding amazing!! Here’s a little taster... (I’d been singing for four hours at this point.)Tickets available at the links below, come join us and celebrate one of the greatest songwriters. Doors at 7pm, and support from @adamthommusic so get there early to see him!

Our Christmas Fundraising appeal is LIVE! Here’s our Creative Lead, @scottmac.drums, sharing his experience.

We are asking you to buy musicALL a Christmas gift so we can continue to support disabled young musicians to express themselves creatively, form lasting peer connections, and share their talent.

As you donate to our work, consider this list of some basic things we often need:

£10 - New drumsticks
£20 - One hour of 1:1 music assistant
£35 - One hour of group music tutor
£50 - Studio hire for a session
£75 - New microphone
£100 - New guitar
£150 - Venue hire for a show
£200 - Full 2 hour music session

Can you afford to gift us two new sets of drumsticks? Three hours of a music tutor? A single music session?

Any contribution will be an immense help towards our goal of igniting and nurturing the creativity of Scotland’s disabled young people, building their confidence, strengthening peer connections, and amplifying their voices.

‘Celebrating the music and songwriting of Warren Zevon, a group of Scotland’s most in-demand musicians join forces to pay tribute to an American cult hero.
Expect to hear hits such as ‘Werewolves of London’, ‘Lawyers, Guns and Money’ and ‘Poor Poor Pitiful Me’ alongside other songs from his 1976 self-titled album and the classic 1978 album ‘Excitable Boy’, as well as deeper cuts from his 80s, 90s and 00s output, before his untimely death in 2003.’

Sundays the 9th of June is the @musicallcharity Move on Up showcase!!

This will be a great afternoon featuring FIVE bands of talented young people. If you fancy a fun afternoon featuring an eclectic mix of songs, then come along! I work with four of these bands with @scottmac.drums and others, and @cborthwickguitar runs the other band playing. It’s a great project and a great charity, and there’s some talented young people performing.
