Some chapters are written with words. This one was written through a lens.

To Jacksonville State Football thank you for trusting me with moments that deserved to be remembered. Every practice, every game, every celebration became part of a story greater than myself. What began as photographs became history, preserved one frame at a time.

As this chapter comes to a close, I leave with more than a degree. I leave with gratitude, lifelong memories, and a body of work that will outlive the final whistle. Timeless, just like the moments we created together.

“Proverbs 17:17 — A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.” 🤍

When I first came to Spelman, I didn’t have a clear understanding of what true friendship or manhood looked like. Then I met you all freshman year—and somehow, from that moment on, I was never alone again.

You have carried me through some of my lowest moments, corrected me with love, protected me without hesitation, and stood in the gap for me time and time again. In seasons where I didn’t even recognize myself, you all never let me forget who I was.

Through you, I didn’t just gain friends—I gained a standard. A real, unwavering example of loyalty, integrity, protection, and what true brotherhood looks like.

I would not be the woman I am today without you. That is not said lightly—it is the truth.

I pray God continues to cover and preserve this bond, because this is more than friendship… this is family. You are the uncles to my children, my lifelong protectors, my brothers in every sense of the word.

My girls. My sisters. My reasons. 🤍

“Thank you” will never be enough for what you all have been to me. There are no words big enough to hold the depth of my gratitude for this kind of love.

I am forever indebted to our friendship—deeply, humbly grateful that God placed me in a sisterhood like this. A tribe of strong women, raised by strong women, rooted in something even greater… and because of that, you have held me together in moments I didn’t have the strength to hold myself.

You have seen me at my lowest—when the tears wouldn’t stop, when the weight felt unbearable—and you stayed. You loved me through it. And in the same breath, you’ve filled my life with a joy so pure it heals what pain tried to take from me.

Through years of toil and pain,
