👋🏻 MEET THE FACE BEHIND SCRAN

I’m Sean — founder of Scran meal prep and former head chef of the brickyard in Brighouse, achieving the @goodfoodguideuk top 50 Sunday lunches in the uk 👨🏻‍🍳

After years of working in kitchens and creating restaurant-quality food, I wanted to bring something different to meal prep.

I started Scran because I believe eating healthy shouldn’t mean eating boring.

Too often “meal prep” means plain chicken, rice and no flavour — and that’s exactly what I wanted to change and bring my 26 years of experience and knowledge into your homes.

ITS BEEN A WEEK AT SCRAN 📸

From feeding the chickens to feeding our AMAZING community 🫵🏻. SCRAN would be nothing without you!! And of course my amazing support network around me who allows me to make this dream a reality.

This week has been chocked with, recipe testing, fresh new ingredients, big pans of luscious ragu stock, overnight oats, packaging trials, analysing future SCRAN product offerings, and plenty of late-night planning with my unc, ‘the king pin’, trying to absorb every ounce of business knowledge and prowess he has ( absolutely shit loads by the way 😂) —before everything finally comes together in rows and rows of finished meals ready for the Monday madness 😂🤯

You normally only see the finished boxes, but there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make each week work.

Always learning. Always developing. Never standing still.

After an incredible chapter, totalling 15 years on and off, I’ll be leaving Rudding Park Hotel in the 1st week of October to take SCRAN full-time.

Rudding Park has felt like home from day one. It’s genuinely been the most supportive, inspiring and addictive workplace I’ve ever been part of. I’m incredibly grateful for the people, the opportunities and everything I’ve learned along the way—it won’t be easy to say goodbye. And to those chefs 👨🏻‍🍳 I have worked so closely with, you know how I feel, you are all truly special to me. I’m suited to have shared this adventure with you!!!
