Here’s everything we did: Cherry Crest Adventure Farm — 70+ farm activities, the famous corn maze, and fireworks every Saturday night through November 7th Flinchbaugh’s Orchard & Farm Market — their brand new Harvest Bloom Trail is stunning. Pumpkins, sunflowers, fall blooms, and the best photo opportunities AmishView Inn & Suites — beautifully decorated rooms, breakfast included, and the most perfect location right in the heart of Amish Country Smokehouse BBQ & Brews — literally steps from the hotel and the BBQ is so good Amish Experience — the tour of the Amish house and one-room schoolhouse is so worth it! This tour shows how the Amish live today in 2026 and it is not what I expected! Don’t miss the Glowing Pumpkin Trail—a nighttime walk through thousands of carved, illuminated pumpkins! 2️⃣ Lakeland Orchard & Cidery 📍 1649 Lakeland Dr, Scott Township, PA 18433 Ride the train through the Halloween Light Show, pick your own apples, enjoy axe throwing, live music, kids’ rides, and tasty seasonal treats like cider slushies. 3️⃣ Ritter’s Cider Mill 📍 117 Wimmers Rd., Jefferson Township, PA 18436 A fall tradition featuring fresh-pressed cider, pumpkin picking, hay rides, pony rides, animals, and their famous apple cider donuts. Ok so I’ve been wanting to visit for YEARS, but somehow we just never made it happen until THIS WEEKEND when a wedding brought us nearby and I’m so glad we took the little detour to finally check it out because WOW 🤩 i’s even more impressive in person! The Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct, aka the Nicholson Bridge, is a NEPA landmark that deserves a spot on your local bucket list! 🤯 A few fun facts: ✨ It’s 2,375 feet long (nearly half a mile!) ✨ It rises 240 feet above the creek bed. ✨ It opened in 1915 and was once the largest concrete bridge in the WORLD! 📍 Nicholson Bridge Viewpoint 11 Carr St, Nicholson, PA 18446 I can’t believe it took us over 10 years of living in the Scranton area to finally visit this incredible spot! 👇 Have you been here? Am I the only one who hasn’t used a babysitter in almost a whole year 🫣 Well no sitter, no problem with this day date! Bring the kids and they can enjoy the playground and mini golf while mom and dad enjoy a flight of hard ciders or wine!
