POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Beyond Grateful and Truly Honored to be a part of this amazing Marketplace. We just wrapped up another special experience - my Second MATPRA with @midatlantictourism. When Creativity and Passion for Travel and Tourism come together - It creates Endless Stories and a beautiful community.

It was an absolute honor to meet so many amazing DMOs, creators and friends. So precious to building new friendships and embracing the existing ones.

A special thanks to @visitcentralde and Delaware members @visitsouthdel @visitdelaware @visitwilmingtonde for hosting, giving us such a fun memorable experience and letting us explore so many hidden gems in the area. I truly appreciate all the hard work, dedication and efforts that went behind the scenes.

Here’s to building a community and sharing the passion for tourism and travel, that we all share. Hope to see you all again in Staunton, VA @visitstaunton next year.

I cannot wait to continue sharing more travel stories and experiences that motivate the community to step out of the busy daily routine and create memories with their families and Kids.

Thanks to @midatlantictourism from the bottom of my heart for giving me the space where I felt welcomed and that I Belong ❤️❤️

Raymondskill Falls, Pennsylvania 🌲 — one of those places that looks even better in person. 😍
Hidden inside the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, Raymondskill Falls is the tallest waterfall in Pennsylvania and makes for a perfect quick nature stop when you want beautiful views without a long hike.

The sound of the falls, the forest surrounding you, and those cascading views make this place feel incredibly peaceful. 🍃✨

📍 Raymondskill Falls, Pennsylvania

✅ Beautiful multi-tier waterfall 🌊
✅ Short scenic hike 🥾
✅ Amazing photo spots 📸
✅ Forest & mountain vibes 🌲
✅ Two waterfall viewing areas 👀
✅ Perfect quick nature getaway 💙

🥾 Trail Info:
The trail is only about 1/3 mile, but parts are steep and uneven with rocks, roots, and potentially slippery areas, so good walking shoes definitely help.

💡 Travel Tip:
Go early in the morning or on a weekday if possible. Waterfall areas can get especially busy on summer weekends. Stay on the designated trail and viewing platforms — swimming at Raymondskill Falls is prohibited, and pets aren't permitted on the trail.

💙 Save this reel for your next Pennsylvania / Delaware Water Gap trip and send it to someone who loves waterfalls!

For far too long, I’ve waited for life to slow down to make certain memories or do certain things.

Sometimes, I’d automatically cross things off the list for no real reason at all, other than they just seemed really “big”.

I’m trying to get better at “doing the thing”— even if feels inconvenient.

…not waiting for the perfect time, the perfect plan, or a reason that makes more sense.

We “made” a few days, I found a flight (with the tremendous help of @scrantonmom !), and we went!

No big agenda other than having a memory-making experience, with one of my kids.

We put our backpacks in the car and drove to Allentown. Tickets were less than $100 each! We flew on @allegiant, out of @flyabe_ direct to @flymlb.

In and out of both airports was SO smooth for these travel newbies! What a relief and confirmation that, “Yes! We can do this!”

I accomplished my goal. We did the thing. Now, onto the next adventure!🤍

What do aliens and lighthouses have in common?

Me!

While my extraterrestrial status hasn’t been proven (yet!), I promise my storytime @friendlyalienbooks on Sunday, August 2 (11 a.m. to noon) will be out of this world. 🤓

There will be a book signing. There will be a reading. There will be coloring sheets. There will be … aliens? (You never know!) 🤞🏻😳

Either way, I’m excited to share the brave and bold heroines of LIGHTHOUSE LADIES with Scranton, PA readers soon. Come hang! 💕🌊

Definitely recommend putting “ride in an Amish buggy” on your bucket list. 🫏 You can’t really tell in the video, but Leroy has a big cross on his back. ✝️

Hersheypark… we get it now 🎢

We didn’t expect to like it this much…

✔ Big coasters
✔ Proper family park
✔ Easy full day without overthinking it

Candymonium alone is worth it 😳

Is this one of the most underrated parks in the US?

Pennsylvania is basically a treasure box of weird, oversized roadside stops… and yes, I love finding them all

I’m on a mission to map all the best stops in the Northeast for families… so you don’t have to search through endless lists to find the cool stuff 🙌

Filter the TLJ Weird + Wonderful Map by “giant things” (one of the MANY filters) and find all the cool things near you!

Comment... WEIRD
and I’ll send it to you directly
or you can always grab it in my bio

And, I know there has to be more World Records out there… tell me what I missed

❤️ Follow along if you like finding the hard to find stops... a new map is coming very soon
