Can you believe this beach faced devastation to own this title?

Why? People who want to bask in the beauty flood to the area on holiday leaving trails of trash for the local community to pickup, but that community is only made up of 140 residents😬. This behavior damages fragile ecosystems and provides a sad steady reminder to be courteous of all natural spaces - leave no trash behind, pickup trash you see (even it’s not yours), leave fragrances/deodorants at home, and only use a natural SPF especially if you plan to dip in the water here at 📍Hyams Beach 🌊

Imagine beach days spent lounging on trash instead of sand? As we are going into summer, don’t forget to take care of our natural world. If you see trash, pick it up! If you can prevent purchasing plastic covered or plastic-full products, do it!

Today kicks off Plastic Free July!

Our world is constantly being filled by single use plastics & other quick use rubbish which may be temporary in our lives, but not to Mother Earth.

Take the pledge to cut out a single use item from your life this month. This will create a trend and you’ll realise how east it is to swap. From there it’s easier and easier to keep making positive change.
