As skiing season (reluctantly) comes to an end, here is my 20 favourite lines. *send this to your next winter ski partner*

This post is the product of getting extremely lucky, full time patrolling at big white, a lot of driving, having no life and a seasonal decent into insanity.
I arrived in Canada at the start of the winter with no ski partners and very little idea of the ski touring conditions here, it’s been a long learning journey, naturally I was drawn to the classics.

None of this would have been possible without the fantastic friends and partners I met along the way, thank you guys for being keen, competent, fit, and inspired for these missions;

Aoraki Mt Cook East face ski decent. The last day of a fantastic 4 day weather window and a few objectives from plateau hut. We Solo’d up, summited around 9:15 and skiied from ~30m below summit ridge in fantastic corn. 🌽

2025 RECAP: (not at all chronological order)
1&2: EVEREST ON PANDEMIC, 9,000m vert in 24 hours on the steepest trail I could stomach. Bootleg Everest, Immense group effort on this one would not have been possible without the support from the legends @charlieglass_ @rronanburke @joa._.kim @benhildred

It’s been stormy here in Cajon Del Maipo, landslides, avalanches, road closures and no skiing. Silver lining we have made new friends.

The snow has stopped but things are unstable🤞we can go skiing soon

Loma Larga🌟

Back in the high Andes, this time with @sean.toms coming all the way from Canada after seeing my posts from Cajon del Maipo! Today we came back after three nights in Valle Arenas. First day we approached the valley with heavy packs but also got some turns in (picture nr 8)! Second day was spent meditating and eating in the tent while waiting for saturdays weather window where we decided to go far and high. We skied from 4800 meters on Loma Larga SW, a cold, windy and clear day in the mountains until 2 pm when clouds rolled in and we headed back to camp. We are both stoked about this 2000 meter ski run that we got in good condition through terrain none of us had seen before! 🌟 taken in Cajón del Maipo by @sean.toms
