Finally. A moment to breathe.

The LA Marathon is done. And honestly, it’s taken me a minute to even sit down and write this.

This training block was one of the hardest things I’ve tried to balance: work, life, building LTRC, and quietly chasing a personal goal that I wasn’t always sure I’d make it to the start line for. There were weeks where everything felt like too much. And then there were Thursday nights, Saturday mornings, and Sunday slow miles that reminded me exactly why we do this.

Training alongside this community changed how I approached every single mile. The accountability, the early alarms, the shared suffering; that’s what carried me through the bumps. And there were bumps.
I’m genuinely proud of how I ran. Not because it was perfect, it wasn’t, but because it was honest. Given everything I was carrying into this block, I’ll take it. And I’ll build on it.

The next chapter? Sub-3. I know what that takes. I know it won’t happen overnight. But if building LTRC from 4 people to where we are now taught me anything, it’s that patience, consistency, and the right people around you can make the unreasonable feel inevitable.

Thank you for running with me. Literally and in every other way.

See you Thursday. 💙 taken in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles by @sean_mac

Sydney was our biggest one yet. 🚀

4 out of 4 sold out series and watching the pro teams getting mobbed at their buses from their fans. Insane.

Grateful for the love and the community.

Next up, Seoul S. Korea. 🇰🇷 by @sean_mac

Four years in and the Gold Gala still gives me chills. Getting to work alongside @bingchen , @rose_yam , @lindangay, and the entire @goldhouseco team not just behind the scenes but in the room every spring, has been one of the greatest honors of my career. What you all have built for the AANHPI community isn’t just an event. It’s a home. And somewhere along the way, it started feeling like mine too. Here’s to many more. ✨🥹

Six months of work. One night that made it all worth it. Incredibly proud of what the team built for the @idl.global NYC launch at the Hammerstein Ballroom — broadcast, creative, production, all firing together. Worked a run through Central Park to soak it all in. First event done. Learnings locked. Only up from here. 🙏 Next stop Vancouver — but first, @goldhouseco Gold Gala May 9th. ✨ taken in New York City by @sean_mac

Today reminded me why we started this 🌸✨

We got to bring together two worlds that mean a lot to me, my professional world @aura.obj and the community we’ve built through @littletokyorunclub . New people, new conversations, miles shared with folks I wouldn’t have met otherwise.

Running is just the vehicle, the real product has always been community and culture.

Days like today make that clearer than ever.
