Join us in celebrating 🥳🎉👏🎊 @lacarchive’s final day at the @hammer_museum’s temporary space, part of the Made in L.A. 2023 showcase. Their “break room” installation, is a creative remix of selections from their extensive archives.

From the moment we connected with @artistnomad46, her vision was crystal clear: “The film needs to be Nina-Simone-Good”. Sean and I instantly resonated with this ambition. @seanrowry transformed this video into a poem ✂️🎞️

@roksanapirouzmand journey as an artist is deeply rooted in her personal narrative as an immigrant. Her recent creations delve into the complex tapestry of diasporic memory, weaving together themes of care, resilience, and the often-unspoken aspects of violence in Iran.

🎥 Proud to present our new short film! Co-directed in collaboration with @seanrowry who brought a unique vision to this project.
