We’re very excited to be pouring at San Francisco’s newest wine fair, Salon! Salon! Salon! on November 15th at Saint Joseph Art Center, all thanks to founders @bigwest.presents and @merchants_of_thirst !

We’ll be featuring a selection from a representative few of our portfolio of Japanese winemakers, alongside the awesome work of a number of friends and collaborators.

this sunday, pat sutliff (director of gemini wine bar) will be back pouring a lineup of clean, refreshing summer wines from boutique Japanese wineries in Yamagata, and Osaka. Whites, Oranges, Reds. Chateau Kiri, and Fujimaru winery.

On Monday, June 22nd we’ll be welcoming back Valley alumni @jakedotgov and @yeahkazzy for a @seapriestselections takeover! They’ve been out scouting the most delicious, inventive, intuitive Japanese wines to bring to our California shores. Their focus is on producers that aren’t necessarily trying to approximate Burgundy or Carneros, but instead are exploring what it means for a wine to be truly Japanese, while of course checking all the right Valley boxes for farm sourcing and production along the way. We love exploring sense of place in taste, trying to understand what can’t be experienced from anywhere else. You’ll just have to experience these wines for yourself! Preparations are well underway for our 2026 release!

While snow melts in Hokkaido and pruning begins, Torocco Winery bottles and labels their first wines intended for sale in California. They and many others represent new additions to the Sea Priest portfolio.
