🇻🇳 Team Vietnam at SEATRA Cup

Participating in the SEATRA Cup was a meaningful experience for our Vietnam team, bringing together athletes, teammates, and the wider running community across Southeast Asia.

Beyond the competition, it was an opportunity to connect, learn, and experience the strong spirit of sportsmanship within the region.

We are proud to represent Vietnam alongside talented and passionate athletes from neighbouring countries.

The event reminded us that sport goes beyond winning — it builds friendships, inspires people, and creates a stronger regional community.

We look forward to continuing this journey, supporting the growth of running in Vietnam, and proudly carrying the Vietnamese spirit to more international events.

See you all again in 2028 in Chiang Mai! 🇻🇳🇹🇭🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ by @seatrc

🇸🇬 Team Singapore at SEATRA Cup

Singapore’s participation in the 2026 Southeast Asia Trail Running Cup was a journey of belief, resilience, and national pride.

Against the odds, our athletes fought for every position and delivered a historic overall bronze for Team Singapore — a result that reflects how far our small but passionate trail-running community has come.

Beyond medals, the greatest takeaway was the friendship and shared spirit among the Southeast Asian trail-running nations.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Indonesia, the host country, for the incredible hospitality, challenging courses, and tremendous effort in bringing our regional community together.

We return home inspired, proud, and hungry for more.

The future of Southeast Asian trail running is bright — and Singapore is proud to be part of it. 🇸🇬🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ by @seatrc

🇹🇭 Team Thailand at SEATRA Cup

We were proud to be part of the SEATRA Cup 2026 in Indonesia.

Beyond the competition, it was a valuable opportunity to connect with the Southeast Asian trail running community, exchange experiences, and witness the remarkable progress and growing strength of athletes from our neighbouring countries.

The experience encouraged us to reflect on how we can further develop Thai athletes, create stronger pathways from national to international competition, and continue raising our competitive level alongside the region.

As Thailand prepares to host the next edition in Chiang Mai in 2028, we return home with valuable lessons and inspiration—not only to develop our athletes, but also to create an event that brings our region closer together.

Our sincere thanks to Indonesia for the warm hospitality and a memorable SEATRA Cup.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to Chiang Mai in 2028. 🇹🇭🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ by @seatrc

Feeling like it’s about time to share a little race recap from @seatrc. Turns out… I don’t have much to say. Maybe that’s the clearest sign of a really good day?

The only thing running through my mind the whole race was: “This. This is exactly what I came here for”
I just love this sport.

There’s still so much for me to learn out here. But standing on that start line. Representing Indonesia🇮🇩... and crossing the finish in 2nd, seeing sub 8:23… that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Grateful for the mix of preparation and a bit of luck that got me here.

So much respect for these two women @luciegerard05 @godeninglo. Real big sister energy all the way. I love being part of this wave of strong women rising in trail🤍

And wow… energy from everyone out there, even in the middle of nowhere. Hearing people shout my name: “Pujas… Ayooo Pujasss!” that pushed me more than anything. That’s the best part of racing!

So many people to thank, before and after this big event.
@asosiasilaritrail @alti_jabar @alti.kotadepok @lasportivaindonesia @technicaloutdoorindonesia

As for “what’s next?” I wanna give myself a little time. But @bdg100_official is already there! So for now, I’m following my own advice: choosing what excites me, what really moves me and enjoying the adventure✨ by @seatrc

Representing Brunei at the SEATRC was a meaningful experience for Team Brunei, bringing together athletes, coaches, and supporters in the spirit of regional competition and friendship.

Beyond the results, the event provided valuable exposure to different racing environments, competing alongside strong athletes from across Southeast Asia, and learning from one another.

It was also an opportunity to showcase Brunei’s growing running community and the dedication of our athletes on an international platform.

🇵🇭 12 times Lupang Hinirang was played.

And every single time, it felt like every sacrifice was worth it.

I was on stage as a SEATRC official, required to remain neutral throughout the competition. But when our national anthem played for the first gold of the SEA Trail Running Cup, my tears were simply uncontrollable. ❤️🇵🇭

That gold was won by Niko in the Men’s Short Trail—after one of the closest battles of the weekend.

I still remember Niko in 2023, just 18 years old, joining our first National Championships. We had to help get his flight booked and even looked for shoes he could race in.

He finished second—and crossed the finish line straight into my arms.

It wasn’t enough to make the team.

So he went back to work.

By December 2023, he won the National Championships.

The rest is history.

And Niko’s story is now shared by a new generation. This year, more than half of our delegation was under 23, with our youngest athlete only 13.

And together, they delivered:

🥇 11 Gold
🥈 6 Silver
🥉 7 Bronze
🏆 Overall Champions

Behind every medal are months of training, sacrifice, belief—and countless volunteers who give their time, energy, weekends, and sometimes their own resources to make this possible.

The SEA Trail Running Cup may be over, but the work continues—with the Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships ahead and National Championships qualifiers happening across the country.

Thank you will never be enough.

Every time our anthem plays, it carries a little bit of all of you. by @seatrc
