Happy birthday to me. 🎂🇸🇬

Another year older, a little wiser, and still choosing the trails that challenge me, the dreams that scare me, and the people who make every journey worthwhile.

I’ve crossed mountains, battled injuries, led with purpose, cooked with love, and raised a family with pride—somehow still smiling through the climbs. Life hasn’t always given me a smooth path, but it has given me strong legs, a stubborn heart and countless reasons to keep moving forward.

As President of the Singapore UltraRunners Association, I’m grateful for the privilege of serving this incredible community—helping our runners dream bigger and watching Singapore’s flag fly proudly on trails around the world. Leadership, like ultrarunning, is never about reaching the summit alone. It is about bringing others along and helping them discover just how far they can go.

None of this journey has been mine alone. To my family, thank you for your love, patience and unwavering support—even when “I’m going for a short run” turned into several hours. To my friends, thank you for believing in me, encouraging the crazy dreams and standing beside me through every high and low.

To everyone who believed in the vision of SURA—our committee, volunteers, athletes, officials, partners and the wider trail-running community—thank you for sharing the dream and helping us build something Singapore can be proud of. And to our sponsors, thank you for believing in our athletes, supporting our mission and giving us the opportunity to carry our flag further.

Every summit, milestone and proud moment has been made more meaningful because it was shared with all of you.

Here’s to another year of chasing summits, lifting others and remembering that the best chapters are rarely found on the easy trails.

Older? Definitely. Wiser? Hopefully. Slower? Let’s blame the technical terrain. 😄

ALTI DKI BERIKAN PENGHARGAAN KEPADA ATLET BERPRESTASI DI AJANG SEATRC

Pangalengan, Bandung — ALTI DKI memberikan penghargaan kepada para atlet yang berhasil menorehkan prestasi pada ajang SEATRC. Penyerahan penghargaan dilaksanakan pada Selasa, 25 Agustus 2026, di Pangalengan, Bandung, yang selama ini menjadi homebase sekaligus salah satu lokasi utama pemusatan latihan atlet ALTI DKI.

Pangalengan dipilih bukan tanpa alasan. Karakter wilayah pegunungan, kontur lintasan yang menantang, serta kondisi alam yang mendukung menjadikan kawasan ini sebagai tempat para atlet ALTI DKI membangun kekuatan, daya tahan, teknik, dan mental sebelum menghadapi berbagai kompetisi.

Adapun atlet yang menerima penghargaan yaitu Putra Aldio Hamzah, yang berhasil meraih medali emas nomor Vertical 7K Putra serta medali perak Mountain Classic Senior Putra. Selanjutnya, Yusri Nanda berhasil meraih medali emas Mountain Classic Senior Putra, sedangkan Melda Cantika sukses mempersembahkan medali emas Mountain Classic Junior Putri.

Penghargaan diserahkan secara langsung oleh perwakilan ALTI DKI sebagai bentuk apresiasi atas dedikasi, kerja keras, disiplin, dan semangat juang para atlet selama mengikuti kejuaraan.

Momentum tersebut sekaligus menjadi ajang koordinasi antar pelatih, evaluasi pembinaan, serta pembahasan rencana menghadapi Kejuaraan Nasional (Kejurnas) berikutnya. Dengan pembinaan yang berkesinambungan dari homebase latihan di Pangalengan, ALTI DKI berharap para atlet terus berkembang, menjaga konsistensi, dan mampu kembali menghadirkan prestasi terbaik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

Dari Pangalengan, latihan ditempa. Dari perjuangan, prestasi diciptakan. 🔥🏃‍♂️⛰️

On behalf of the Myanmar Ultra Trail Running Association, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your warm hospitality and the tremendous work involved in organising SEATRC 2026.

The event gave our athletes an invaluable opportunity to represent Myanmar, compete against some of Southeast Asia’s strongest runners and gain important international experience.

Feeling like it’s about time to share a little race recap from @seatrc. Turns out… I don’t have much to say. Maybe that’s the clearest sign of a really good day?

The only thing running through my mind the whole race was: “This. This is exactly what I came here for”
I just love this sport.

There’s still so much for me to learn out here. But standing on that start line. Representing Indonesia🇮🇩... and crossing the finish in 2nd, seeing sub 8:23… that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Grateful for the mix of preparation and a bit of luck that got me here.

So much respect for these two women @luciegerard05 @godeninglo. Real big sister energy all the way. I love being part of this wave of strong women rising in trail🤍

And wow… energy from everyone out there, even in the middle of nowhere. Hearing people shout my name: “Pujas… Ayooo Pujasss!” that pushed me more than anything. That’s the best part of racing!

So many people to thank, before and after this big event.

🇵🇭 12 times Lupang Hinirang was played.

And every single time, it felt like every sacrifice was worth it.

I was on stage as a SEATRC official, required to remain neutral throughout the competition. But when our national anthem played for the first gold of the SEA Trail Running Cup, my tears were simply uncontrollable. ❤️🇵🇭

That gold was won by Niko in the Men’s Short Trail—after one of the closest battles of the weekend.

I still remember Niko in 2023, just 18 years old, joining our first National Championships. We had to help get his flight booked and even looked for shoes he could race in.

He finished second—and crossed the finish line straight into my arms.

It wasn’t enough to make the team.

So he went back to work.

By December 2023, he won the National Championships.

The rest is history.

And Niko’s story is now shared by a new generation. This year, more than half of our delegation was under 23, with our youngest athlete only 13.

And together, they delivered:

🥇 11 Gold
🥈 6 Silver
🥉 7 Bronze
🏆 Overall Champions

Behind every medal are months of training, sacrifice, belief—and countless volunteers who give their time, energy, weekends, and sometimes their own resources to make this possible.

The SEA Trail Running Cup may be over, but the work continues—with the Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships ahead and National Championships qualifiers happening across the country.

Thank you will never be enough.

Every time our anthem plays, it carries a little bit of all of you.

Jakarta Open Trail Race Vlog! 🇮🇩🏃‍♂️I finished the Mountain Classic 10K in just over 2 hours. I know I probably had a sub-2 in me... if I wasn't talking so much throughout the vlog. 😂

More importantly, I genuinely enjoyed this course, especially the last 4 km where I could really open up and run the trails.

Huge thanks to @jotr_cianjur for putting together such an incredible event and for hosting us during the @seatrc event!

I also got to test the new @merrell_ph Agility Peak 6. It's noticeably lighter than the previous version, with excellent traction on muddy and rocky sections, plus great stability throughout the race. Thank you fam!

Special shoutout to @junellyann for editing this vlog. 😍🫶 You were my inspiration throughout the race, and I really miss doing trail races with you.
