Goodbye my very best girl. Thank you for being by my side for 14 amazing years. You brought us so much joy every single day. You’ve been the best sister to Prune, and cousin to Kilo, and you just loved everyone with all your heart. You taught us to play, laugh, adventure, and not take life too seriously. I will miss your soft ears, sweet kisses, your frisky nature and our happy hour sing alongs. I will miss you so much each and every day my sweetest lady. I hope you and Prune @prune_and_nocino are running on the beach together again. Hopefully taking long walks with Nana @seaurchinqueenmother , and getting some snacks from @chefredkevin ✨💜 Thank you for making me the happiest dog mom. I love you Nocino. #nocinothedog 12-12-2011🌈8-12-2026 by @seaurchinqueen

This week, we said goodbye to our beloved Nocino. For 14 beautiful years, she was our lady, our little muppet, our sweet rascal, and the very best girl. Our hearts ache without her. We’ll miss her resting at our feet in the mornings, barking at us for not sharing the rest of our spaghetti, and giving us the pure, unconditional love she carried in her heart. We hope she’s running free on the beaches with Prune, happy and carefree. Thank you for 14 wonderful years, our sweet Nocino girl. You will be missed and loved forever. Rest well. 🤍🐾 by @seaurchinqueen

Mom💜 Today has been one year since you returned to the stars. Everything looks different down here now. I see all the flowers and birds you loved. Every mossy stone and pink colored cloud. Is you. I miss laughing together, and sharing music, and bringing you food. I miss your voice & your support. I hope you are looking down on us with a smile. I miss you today and everyday. I love you. @seaurchinqueenmother by @seaurchinqueen

It’s hard to find the words, but I needed to share something about Kevin—because he was too important not to. When we moved to Portland, Kevin became family. He made everyone feel seen and heard, and was always there with comfort and kindness, especially when Zoi and I lost our mothers within months of eachother. Some people just have an old soul, and our connection was instant. We shared so many good conversations over a nice glass of wine or his favorite Stella. He took care of our fur babies and our home. He was someone we trusted with our pets, our space, and our hearts. He was home. We are so heavy from this loss in our life. This year I truly understand that life is short. If you’re arguing with someone, let it go. Hug your people. Kevin, we love you and we will miss you. I hope you’re walking the runway right now, shining just like you always did. 🤍 @chefredkevin taken in Portland, Oregon by @seaurchinqueen

We gathered together this weekend to celebrate the beautiful life of my beloved mother “outlaw” as I used to call her. Through shared stories, laughter, and quiet moments, we found comfort and healing in each other’s presence. Though she may no longer be with us, her love and spirit were with us in the Skagit Valley. We will miss you Margaret. 💜 “Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, And never stops at all.” — Emily Dickinson taken in Edison, Washington by @seaurchinqueen
