It was an honor sitting on this AES panel with the great Jack Douglas. Our paths only crossed a few times, but those times were always memorable. He was friendly, insightful, and talented. You will be missed. RIP taken in National Audio-Visual Conservation Center by @seaytoby

Someone needs to do a deep musicological dive on Bob Weir's guitar playing. Highly underrated and unique. Jerry was a noodler. Phil was a noodler. Bob was the binding agent. He didn't just fill in the gaps. He connected the elements. That took nuance, subtlety, and a lot of work. Never heard anyone like him. A lot of people worked really hard to get to this, and here it is, the first issue of the Journal of Music Production Research. Very happy to have authored one of the articles with my colleagues @magoosound and @danbonefinger. Thanks to @profmikealleyne and Austin Moore, as well as everyone at @smprmusic for making this happen. https://intellectdiscover.com/content/journals/jmpr/1/1 Book cover for the Journal of Music Production Research featuring a picture of recording console knobs. by @seaytoby
