✨ Surprising a deserving young woman with a 4-Year College Scholarship… live on stage!

This will forever be one of the most meaningful moments of my career.

While speaking for the incredible group at @leadershipflorida I learned about @valwickboldt , an attendee who has been mentoring a young girl named Amina through @bbbsamerica . Valerie’s dream? To give Amina the chance to go to college.

That’s where the magic of connection stepped in…

Together with Wendy (the client) and @myfloridaprepaid , we were able to gift Amina a full college scholarship—right there, in front of everyone.

The lesson? When we get clear on our biggest dreams and share them with others, amazing things happen. People rise up, communities unite, and possibilities unfold.

Valerie’s dream sparked a chain reaction—and now, Amina is on her way to college.

So I’ll ask you this: What’s on your list?

During the filming of my reality show 100 Things, I helped strangers around the world achieve their most meaningful bucket list goals, across 26 episodes 📺

Along the way, I saw firsthand the most common things that stop people from achieving their biggest dreams ❌

I also found the solutions! ✅

▶️ Not lack of talent.
▶️ Not lack of resources.
▶️ Not even lack of motivation.

The top 3 obstacles were far more human:

1. Identity 🪞
72% didn’t doubt the dream. They doubted themselves.
Not “Can this happen?” but “Who am I to do this?”

2. Fear 😰
60% were more afraid of being seen trying than failing.
Fear of judgment was more powerful than fear of the outcome.

3. Isolation 🧎🏽‍➡️
Without proximity to belief, doubt grows.
Pursuing something meaningful alone makes everything heavier.

📈 But breakthroughs followed three consistent shifts:

1. Action created confidence 🏃🏾‍♀️‍➡️
90% experienced mindset shifts after taking one small step.
Clarity didn’t come first. Movement did.

2. Identity was built through behavior 💪
People stopped waiting to feel ready and started becoming someone who acts.
Identity isn’t found. It’s formed through action.

3. Support accelerated everything 👫
When someone stood beside them, fear lost its grip.
Belief is contagious. Proximity changes what feels possible.

If you want to move toward something meaningful:

✅ Take one small, visible step.
✅ Surround yourself with people who are moving.
✅ Let your identity catch up to your courage.

*Action. Support. Identity*

That’s how dreams move.

If this resonated, share it with someone who needs the reminder.

2026 Speaker Reel 🎥 :

16 years into this wild journey of professional speaking, I smile looking back at how accidentally it all began 🎤

In 2009, I was invited to speak for free at a travel show in the UK. I couldn’t believe how much fun I had on stage and I remember going home and Googling:
“Is speaking a career?”
Turns out, it was.

From that moment on (with dumb luck as my trusty sidekick), I started getting more invites to speak. And I loved it. I smiled every time. It felt like something I was meant to do and, to my surprise, people seemed to resonate with it too!?

From 2009 to 2019, I couldn’t tell you how many talks I gave. Not because there were too many to count but because I never cared to. Back then, it wasn’t a “career.” It was just something I loved 🩷

Today, it’s different. I still feel the same joy when I step on stage but now, I own it 💪

My keynote is no longer a simple monologue with hidden messages. It’s a living, breathing experience. Audiences don’t just listen, they participate.

The message has grown, too.
Yes, it still speaks to Unlocking Limitless Possibility ✅
Yes, it still celebrates how Passion Inspires Passion ✨
But now, it also speaks to a truth that’s changed everything for me:

The greatest things we’ll ever achieve and the biggest impact we’ll ever create aren’t just about how hard we try- they’re about how deeply we’re connected to the people beside us.

We are strong alone—but better together.

This isn’t just a message from stage, it’s a truth of my life.
To everyone who’s booked me, listened, cheered, or just sent a kind message:
Thank you.
I’m better because of you. I hope I’ve offered you something good in return.

Seb :)

Each year we take an annual boys trip in nature.

We have one key rule:

Each guy leads a surprise activity on a different day.

Day 1: we played Battleship using walkie-talkies floating on kids’ bounce houses on a lake.

Day 2: we made a one-shot music video.

Day 3: I surprised the boys with matching turtlenecks and took them to a petting zoo for a photoshoot.

Full photoshoot drop on Sunday, follow to check it out.

PS: If you’re thinking about a getaway with friends, do it. And remember: doing weird things together is one of the fastest ways to remember why you love your friends. by @seb100things

One of the best parts of speaking is the people you meet along the way.

Last night, I landed in Traverse City at midnight after speaking in Montana earlier that day.

I was picked up by a man named @toddhagerman , who was driving me to my hotel so I could get a few hours’ sleep before an 8am keynote.

I got into Todd’s van exhausted, barely conscious and fully planning to sleep the entire way.

Then somehow we started talking about his passion for making balloon animals.

Naturally.

Within minutes, Todd was so animated and excited that I was wide awake, laughing and suddenly deeply invested in the world of balloon-based entertainment.

His energy was infectious.

Todd is the perfect example of the ripple effect we all create. You never know how your enthusiasm might lift someone else.

In Todd’s case, it involved @qualatex , ballon-cranking and a “Bunny in a Hole”.

Thanks for the lift, Todd.

You didn’t just get me to the hotel.

You helped get me onto the stage the next morning. by @seb100things

One of my favorite things to happen on stage is when something goes wrong.

Genuinely.

The screen goes black. The audio cuts out. A fire alarm goes off. One hundred students storm the stage halfway through a talk.

All of these have happened.

I have been speaking for more than 17 years and I work hard to make every talk razor sharp.

But the perfectly rehearsed moments are rarely the most memorable.

It is usually when everything goes sideways and the audience realizes the man with the headset does not, in fact, control the universe.

Very humbling.

Also very funny.

Because that is life.

Plans change. Things break. Technology senses fear.

Maybe the lesson is to stop trying to control every second and trust that, whatever happens, you will find a way through it.

Trust yourself.

Trust other people to step forward.

Trust the room to come with you.

Trust that life has a strange habit of sending the right person, idea or moment when you need it most.

We do not have to control everything.

We just have to stay present and trust that, planned or not, together, we have got it covered. Thank you @fernand0miro and @jennifer_lier for making this dream happen! by @seb100things

Every year, three mates and I disappear for our annual boys’ trip.

We have just three rules:

1- Live for a laugh.
2- Zero inhibitions.
3- Friendship above all.

Because laughter, creativity and play are our favourite things, each of us has to surprise the group by creating one ridiculous activity for the weekend.

This year the boys conspired some outrageous experiences …

Day 1- Shot a one-take music video.
Day 2- Did a fashion photoshoot in loafers and turtlenecks at a petting zoo.
Day 3- Wrote and performed a musical.

This year, my contribution?

I convinced everyone to dress as pirates, climb into kids-size inflatable bouncy castles, and play Battleship in the middle of a lake…

…using walkie-talkies.

Somehow, no one drowned.

Every year this weekend reminds me of something important: play isn’t a distraction from life, it fuels it.

I always come home feeling more creative, more connected, and more alive.

So here’s your reminder…

Call your mates. Make the plan. Do something ridiculous.

Because years from now, you probably won’t remember another night on the couch.

You’ll remember the day you played Battleship dressed as pirates in the middle of a lake.

⚓️ Do it. by @seb100things

How to plan a wacky weekend with your friends:

- Rally your friends
- Book a trip in nature
- Everyone plans a surprise activity and reveals it to group
Cook and eat meals together
- Share the challenges you’re going through and share the wins
- Try to stay off your phone
- Bring art supplies

BONUS POINTS:
- Sing songs together (made up or real)
- Draw portraits of each other and reveal
- Silent Journal time together
- Hike together
- Bring wigs

We do this trip every year and it’s always the weekend I laugh the most.

It reminds me that we just don’t make room for being creative, weird and silly. But when we do, it creates deep connections because we can be fully ourselves.

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”

Plan a wacky weekend with your friends and live forever!

Last weekend I went on my annual boys trip in nature.

We have one key rule:

Each guy leads a surprise activity on a different day.

Day 1: we dressed as pirates floating on kids bounce houses in a public lake playing battleship using walkie talkies.

Day 2: we did a photo shoot at a petting zoo wearing cashmere turtle necks and loafers.

For the second year in a row my activity was inspired by my days at NYU film school:

Make a one-shot music video where we pass off the camera to one another to keep the shot going til the end.

What started off as a goofy idea has turned into an annual tradition and a highly advanced bonding exercise where each of us has to work together taking turns as director, dancer, choreographer, and in the case of @seb100things, synchronized swimmer (all of us sprinting between shots to get in frame on time in the background).

Two years in a row, this has been one of the best weekends of my Summer.

If you’re thinking about a getaway with friends, do it.

And remember: doing weird things together is one of the fastest ways to remember why you love your friends.

OK fine I’ll admit it… my name is Seb and I have a sweet tooth 🍫 🦷

Which is why I was thrilled to not only speak for @hersheys today but over the moon to be presented with a 5lb block of customized Hersheys chocolate as a happy birthday present.

Thanks to everyone at Hershey for the opportunity (and the gift) and of course @apbspeakers
