At last, the story of Jack Boeki, a 15 year-old Dutch high school student who escaped capture 10 times and became a N@zi hunter!

He fled to France, where he became involved in espionage with the super secret, O.S.S. (Office of the Strategic Services - which later became the C.I.A.).

After completing a critical mission, the O.S.S. deployed Jack to America to enlist in the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps. On Dday+2, Jack with his team of CIC Agents, landed on Utah Beach and advanced along U.S. forces that liberated France and moved into Germany. His duties were to locate, interrogate and arrest war criminals.

82 years after I landed on the shores of Utah Beach, I never could've imagined that I would get to meet a 4-star General and former pilot on a trip back to Normandy!
I salute you, General Dan Caine.

This is me, Jack Boeki,in my dress uniform for the US Army Counter Intelligence Corps.

I was born in the Netherlands in 1924. I was 15 when Germany invaded and occupied my country. My family lost everything in the bombing. We were not very religious, but because we were Jewish- we were subjected to N@zi tyranny.

I'm very grateful to have escapes capture 10 times By extreme luck I ended up working for the secret spy organization, the O.S.S. (Office of Strategic Services which later became the CIA) in France.

They sent to Camp Ritchie in the United States and at the age of 20, I landed on Utah Beach in Normandy on Dday+2 as an agent of the US Army C.I.C. (Counter Intelligence Corps), attached to the 90th Infantry Division - 970th detachment.

First time in a parade? Yup! Not since people lined the streets of France with wine, cheese and kisses - had my Dad ever experienced anything like being in a parade.

Why?

He lived a quiet life raising a family in Canada. Since he served in the US Army for the Counter Intelligence Corps and OSS in France - he really did not fit in as a veteran in Canada, nor did he seek recognition as one. He had left it all behind.

But his story and his service should be told and remembered.
That's exactly what @rememberingwwii gave to my father. Recodnition he deserves after 82 years.

So incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be invited guests.
A wonderful event and a great group of people who are behind it.

This Sukkot the reminder of how temporary life is, is hitting me stronger than ever.

This is OUR time people of God! LET’s DO SOMETHING!

I know there are plenty of us out there, and growing, who won’t be the silent “believers” ever again!

The world will know we are His true followers, 👆His shema-ers, by our LOVE! LOVE first & foremost for Him, AND for ONE ANOTHER!

This is our time! Let’s do the one thing that will never fail!

The wait is over! Pictures are beginning to roll in, and it's high time to give you all a preview.

⭐️ Thank you to our VETERANS and ROSIES who honored us with their presence, stories, and examples of strength. Jack Boeki, Earl Westbrook, John Phelan, Leigh Walker, and Marie Dingle. For us to honor you, the "Greatest Generation", and learn from your amazing testimonies is a privilege we will not forget. It goes beyond our thanks.

⭐️ To our VOLUNTEERS…This event could not happen without you. We thank you all deeply for your commitment, time given, cheerful attitudes, and problem solving skills. Thank you for lighting your torch and carrying out RWWII's vision.

@michelledor and @rebeccapencer attended a special book signing in Toronto for @secretagentjackww2, a 102-year-old Holocaust survivor.

Co-written with his daughter, “From Fugitive to Freedom” shares Jack’s experiences as a Jewish man in the Netherlands during the Second World War, as well as his experiences as a WWII veteran.

Thank you to @nlincanada for inviting us to this inspiring evening. It is our duty to continue listening to survivors’ stories and carrying their messages forward for future generations.

I had the honor and privilege to participate yesterday at the private launch event for Jack Boeki's book: "From Fugitive to freedom - the amazing story of how a Holocaust survivor became a Nazi hunter"

Jack is 102 years old, went through the holocaust and was a secret agent for the USA during WWII.

His life is unbelievable!

He is a remarkable person!

I met him first 3 years ago when I heard his story during an evening where he spoke for over 2 hours straight! by @secretagentjackww2
