SEFA is proud to announce a new partnership with The Futsal Academy, with a shared ambition to grow futsal and create more high-quality opportunities for young players across Abu Dhabi.

The partnership will begin with specialist futsal training and competitive game formats for boys and girls aged 6–14, providing a platform for players to develop their technical ability, speed of play, creativity and decision-making in one of the world’s fastest-growing formats of football.

Our long-term vision is to build a stronger futsal pathway in the capital through specialist training programmes, competitive leagues, school partnerships and community events.

An exciting addition to this partnership is The Futsal Academy’s recent collaboration with the UAE Football Association, creating a pathway to the UAE Women’s National Futsal Team. This pathway will now be available to girls participating in our joint futsal programme in Abu Dhabi, providing talented young players with an exciting opportunity to progress within the game.

Together, SEFA and The Futsal Academy are committed to raising the standard of futsal in Abu Dhabi and giving young players more opportunities to learn, compete and express themselves. taken in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates by @sefaabudhabi

Football Is Family.

It’s the community you join.
The environment you train in.
The pathway in front of you.

U6 Defending 😍

Develop through PLAY is one of our Academy values 💙

Players engaged, competing & learning - using instinct to solve problems whilst having fun.

That’s the beauty of play.

A simple practice with so many ways to progress 👏

Small space. Quick feet. Fast decisions. ⚡

Futsal is another opportunity to sharpen our players’ technique, improve decision making and build confidence on the ball.

Team Before Self 🤝

One of our academy values we want players to live - not just hear.

At the end of every session, we acknowledge each others efforts.

We shake hands.
We say goodbye.
We don’t leave our teammates behind.

Small actions. Repeated consistently.

They help us build respect, responsibility & togetherness.

Because youth football development isn’t just about becoming a better player.

It’s about becoming a better teammate on & off the pitch.

That’s the culture we are building.

@sefaabudhabi - Football Is Family 💙
