U6 Defending 😍

Develop through PLAY is one of our Academy values 💙

Players engaged, competing & learning - using instinct to solve problems whilst having fun.

That’s the beauty of play.

A simple practice with so many ways to progress 👏

Team Before Self 🤝

One of our academy values we want players to live - not just hear.

At the end of every session, we acknowledge each others efforts.

We shake hands.
We say goodbye.
We don’t leave our teammates behind.

Small actions. Repeated consistently.

They help us build respect, responsibility & togetherness.

Because youth football development isn’t just about becoming a better player.

It’s about becoming a better teammate on & off the pitch.

That’s the culture we are building.

@sefaabudhabi - Football Is Family 💙

The mind is clear & time goes fast.

Whatever is happening around me disappears.

It’s the ultimate flow state 🧠

If I think back to my playing days, those moments of complete freedom didn’t happen often enough.

Most came when I was a kid… before the pressure increased.

This is something I’m conscious of when creating environments for young players - I’m trying hard to find a balance this season:

🎯 High standards. Intensity.
🎯 Playful freedom to explore & express without fear.

Because confidence creates freedom & freedom allows players to play on instinct.

That’s exactly where we want them to be 💙

A great couple of weekends for COPA Academy! ⚽️👏

Our teams have enjoyed two brilliant weekends of pre-season festival football across the City League and SEFA, giving our players valuable game time and the opportunity to put their hard work into practice.

We now look forward to our U9s, U10s, U11s and U12 Girls getting their City League season underway from next weekend! 💪⚽️

A huge thank you to all of our parents for the fantastic support over the past two weekends, and well done to all of our players for their effort, attitude and commitment throughout.

Now onto the season. 💙
