Another @coffeefestshow in the books & another city explored! ☕️✨ This weekend was beautiful!!!

A couple of years ago, I started sharing the little I know about coffee with others through education, and I’ve loved every bit of it. This industry needs more of that share what you know, inspire others, and be proud of what you do! 🤎

Coffee has given me so much, opened so many doors, and brought incredible people and experiences into my life. I’ll always be thankful for the opportunities it’s given me, and I’ll forever be proud to work in, represent, and give back to this industry. ☕️

Life and especially coffee has gifted me some of the most amazing people in my life. One of them is @thenathanaelmay

Four years ago, Nathanael sat at my table as one of my sensory judges at my very first national competition.

He wasn’t even planning on judging anymore, but people were needed, and somehow, life had a plan.
We needed to meet. We needed to be part of each other’s lives.

Since then, life has taken us through countless cups of coffee, competitions, tears, laughs, lessons, and adventures. It has brought more incredible people into our team, and along the way, we’ve become part of each other’s lives and families.

Today, his family is humbly asking for help and support.
There are so many ways you can show up for them. You can donate, share their GoFundMe, send a message, or simply help spread the word. Every little bit of support means something.

Amor fati was the philosophy behind my routine at my last competition, and I can’t think of a more fitting philosophy for this moment: embracing both the good and the difficult, trusting that nothing lasts forever, and believing there is something greater on the other side if we have the courage to keep going.

Partnerships matter more than we sometimes realize! ☕️
We’re thrilled to officially announce one of our newest and strongest partnerships with @lamarzocco @lamarzocco.usa

Not only are we able to assist anyone interested in bringing a La Marzocco into their café, home, office, or restaurant, but we’re also proud to operate one ourselves and craft some of the best espresso drinks right here at our gastro café.

Because craft matters. The tools matter. And, perhaps most importantly, who you choose to create alongside matters too ☕️

We’re excited for what this partnership brings and even more excited for what we’ll be creating together. 🤝☕️

Coffee, competition, community, and the journey behind Kafiex.

Seidy recently sat down with @baristaseries for the Camp Coffee Shop Speaker Series to talk about her journey through specialty coffee, competing on the U.S. Barista Championship stage, and building Kafiex along the way.

Thank you Pacific Foods Barista Series for giving us the opportunity to share our story. ❤️

Watch the full conversation on YouTube. We’ll share the link in our Stories. taken in Vancouver, Washington by @seidyselivanow

Asha is 7 today!! 🥹❤️🐾

Dogs have so much to teach us and so much to give, completely unconditionally!
Having a dog is having your best friend always by your side, through the good and the bad, asking for absolutely nothing in return. ❤️ (Well maybe treats and food 🫣)

When I lost Muna, someone told me that once my heart was ready, a pup was going to find its way to me again. And I am so, so glad it was you!!! 🥹❤️

You came into my life when I needed you, and I honestly can’t imagine it without you.

Happy 7th birthday to my beautiful girl! I love you more than you’ll ever know. 🐶❤️

My heart is full! ❤️
Thank you to everyone who approached me at camp to tell me how much you love my classes, to share something personal, or to humbly tell me that my story has inspired you 🫶🏼☕️

Hearing that me competing, teaching, sharing my journey, and pursuing my dreams through Kafiex represents you and gives you the courage to pursue your own dreams means more to me than I can put into words.

I think I can confidently say: mission at camp accomplished. 🥹❤️ @campcoffeeshop @baristamagazine

Thank you for reminding me why I do what I do. It was so wonderful spending some time with old friends, make new ones & find new inspiration 🫶🏼☕️🙏🏼

Keep dreaming. Keep pursuing. Keep showing up. Your story matters, too✨

The world of coffee never ceases to amaze me or to make me feel things I can hardly put into words 🫶🏼☕️

During one of my first competition routines, I talked about how coffee had become my connection not only to the people in this country I came to a few years ago without knowing anyone, but eventually to people all around the world.

Today, I experienced that feeling once again.
I walked into @saintfrankcoffee simply hoping to meet the team, have a coffee, and leave a little something for @jasonyeoo
Instead, I was welcomed with a level of excitement, warmth, and kindness I never could have imagined. And somehow, it became even more special when I was welcomed in Spanish.
When I first started competing, I made it my mission to shout to the world that I am Mexican, that I am incredibly proud of where I come from, and that I want to represent my culture with pride.
I also wanted to show people who look like me that they belong here. That dreams really do come true. That there is a place for us in this industry.
And moments like today remind me exactly why I started.

Coffee has given me so much more than a career. It has given me community, connection, friendship, and a way to share a piece of who I am with people all over the world.

I am endlessly grateful for this beautiful world of coffee and for every person who continues to make me feel like I belong 🥰
