Many thanks to Buffy Cramer-Hammann for these lovely photos of me and my girl on the freight haul. Such a beautiful 'walk in the woods'. ❤️ by @seizegrey50

, Such a lovely run here with my girl ❤️

Thanks to the Heart of Michigan Bernese Mountain Dog Club for putting on this test, and for everyone who cheered from the sidelines when Lucy and I took the Narrows. Your support was so appreciated!

Thanks to Jeff, too, for being my Bucket Buddy, and for giving me huge hugs and a shoulder to cry on.

While we had a glitch at the start of the freight haul that prevented the pass we thought we earned today, I am super proud of our performance.

And to my friend, Mike, an amazing human who helped train my boy, who always cheered me on, and whose sudden passing I learned about right before I entered the ring, don't worry. I haven't given up. Like you always told me, it'll come. It'll come. by @seizegrey50

Blessed to have spent National Sons Day and National Daughters Day with mine, and to celebrate with Zach and Katie as they await the arrival of the little one who will share this day with them next year!

You two are the best of me, always.
Love you both. ❤️ by @seizegrey50

Absolutely love meal prep Sundays!

In 90 minutes or less, we have enough healthy meals to last through dinner Thursday night.

No "What's for dinner?" discussions or arguments. No stopping for fast food because we're too tired to cook. No wasted food - ever.

3-4 different proteins give us a ton of choices, so we can each have what we're in the mood for.

This week?
- Steak fajitas
- Herb crusted pork loin
- Chicken meatballs (not pictured because I forgot)
- Caprese salad (also forgot because I was eating it)
- Spinach salad (ditto)

What's on your menu this week?

Teacher work day at just over 8 weeks post-surgery. It's going to be a long couple of weeks. *sigh*

Success is ours!

Lucy earned her Advanced Buried + Advanced Nose Work titles without tipping over any of the water containers, Linda Randall 😂 #iykyk

She Qd on 1 of the 2 runs to finish off an element we've been fighting for since December. Jeff did a great job! So proud of the work he has put in to learn this sport ❤️

Drift Qd on 1 of his 2 buried runs as well, and I correctly called 3/4 of the hides. No water spilled either.

He also earned his Advanced Container title in 2 runs that the judge said were the funniest ones she had seen all day because this dog has a hilarious sense of humor! Clearly a genetic trait, Kelley Neill and Susan VanOcker!

This leaves him 1 Buried Q away from his Advanced Nose Work title as well. Almost there!
