I don’t do a lot of free patterns, but the spirit of charitable giving that comes with the Crochet Cancer Challenge makes every gifted pattern worth it. How it works: Head to Christine’s website (I’ll put the link in my stories). Read all about the Crochet Cancer Challenge and see all the beautiful hats designers have shared. Sister Shawls! I’m a sister, and so I know that sisters can be very similar but also totally different! When I fell in LOVE with this border, I wanted to put it on ALL the shawls! When I came up with 3 different shawl patterns with a variation on the same border stitch, it made me think of me and my sister. Similar in many ways, but unique and beautiful in many ways too. I like to think of the Flossy shawl as the big sister. Gown up, a bit more complex. The Poppy Shawl is the middle sister. A little less serious, but with a hint of her big sister. That makes the Zoey Shawl the little sister. Petite and fun! I’d love to know. Do you have a sister? How are the two of you alike?
