Definitely NOT a typical day in the life, but a very special one 💖

Last week I spent my final day in my studio space in Walyalup Fremantle.

I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to spend the final full day - creating content, super connected online, with a very present stroll through Freo (so much so that I forgot to film anything 😂), and finishing the day by drafting the first email in my new monthly series.

I think my last EDM to my gorgeous list was sent in 2021!

With this new chapter beginning, I’m feeling the pull to start writing and sharing my marketing-related thoughts in this format again.

This week I’m moving out of my first ever studio space and it’s got me looking back and reflecting on the past 7 to 8 years 🥹🤎

I moved into my freo studio on the 13th of March 2023 and I can’t believe just how much I’ve learned and absorbed over these past 3 years. It’s gone SO fast.

Swipe through for some thoughts and some old pics of rooms I’ve worked in over the years. TOTALLY forgot I used to work at a coworking space in West Perth back in early 2020! 🥲

So incredibly grateful for everyone I’ve met on this journey so far and those who’ve chosen to work with me over this time!

What’s one thing you’d tell the version of you who was just starting out?
Also I wonder what future us would tell us now? 😌✨

What a rollercoaster of a year! I would have no idea how to rate the entirety of 2025, so here’s a few moments that stood out, for better or for worse 😂

Thank you so much to my incredible clients and everyone I’ve had the honour of working with over the last 12 months. You have been my biggest highlight.

To those who I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with via my business this year, or who have followed along and supported my work in one way or other, thank you so much. Your encouragement means the world.

I never could have guessed in January that all of this would have unfolded! I can’t wait to see everything that happens in 2026 💫

2 years and 7 months at number 27, how about that 😌✨

Thank you to the amazing @maria.filmphotography for these shots in the studio & looking out over the fresh October leaves of the deciduous London Plane tree 🌳 Looking forward to sharing more from this shoot soon!

I’ve watched this tree ebb and flow for almost 3 years now, as I move through my own months and days.

A reminder there will always be the time to grow and bloom, just as there’s the time for releasing and reflecting 🍂

When I did the artists way for the first time back in late 2023, one message that stood out to me was:

Creative living requires a luxury of time (even if it’s just 15 minutes a day) and luxury of space (even if it’s just a shelf) 😘🤌

It’s something to think about. If you’re working through creative blocks, what’s your relationship like with time and space right now? How can you make what you have available to you just that little bit more luxurious?

A little bit of gratitude to be blessed with both currently 🤍

It’s my business anniversary! 🥹

7 official years as a social media manager and marketing consultant 🎉✨

Each year I fall more and more in love with my job, and I pinch myself that I still get to do this and help incredible business owners connect with their people, launch meaningful projects, and ultimately discover more sustainability in their businesses.

To quote my 2022 self, “I’m just filled with gratitude that this is my reality” 🤍

Thank you for being here and supporting this little dream of mine, it means everything.

Digital self-care: It’s not talked about enough.

If you’re a business owner, fellow social media manager, or someone who spends a lot of time on these apps, I hope this can inspire you to do a little something for you this week or weekend 🌸

A note on number 4: Following accounts that make you feel good doesn’t necessarily mean we shouldn’t follow accounts that keep us updated with important news. It just means balancing out your media so it’s not ALL heartwrenching stuff.

I’m subscribed to a few email lists such as Happy Eco News and Fix The News, which help bring some nice news to my inbox!

It’s really important to me personally to stay aware of the hard stuff – injustice, climate change, pollution, etc. – but also to stay soft as a human, so I try to make the content I consume reflect that.

What are you doing for your digital wellness lately?

P.S. #48offline every few weekends has been a game changer for me! Highly recommend it if you have the capacity 🙌
