YES, I AM BACK!! I am looking forward to teaching on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28th!

So, set your alarm and put it in your calendar! 📅

I have missed you all so much. 😭😭 It has been a long journey. It has been a lot. You never know what someone is going through. To be honest, I feel like a part of me felt so lost (and sad) when I was away.

Thank you to all my amazing friends, family, and students that reached out to me - whether to wish me a Happy Birthday, or you checked in on me and asked me how I’ve been doing. I felt your sincere love and I remembered every small gesture. Thank you and I love you so much! ❤️…Something so mundane, as an exchange of words, can mean the world to someone else.

There are truly heroic and inspiring people walking around us every day, fighting battles no one knows about. There are a very small handful of people who will change your life in a profound way.

This experience has healed parts of me that I never thought could be healed.

Someone recently told me, “Serena, after this experience … you will become an even more impactful, more knowledgeable, and a more powerful teacher & individual. I look forward to seeing how you will change the world and impact people’s lives in your new era.”

So, here’s to my “new era” and the next chapter of the journey. I look forward to seeing you on the mat! I look forward to giving you all a big hug ❤️

I can’t believe one week has already passed since Mysore Season at the @miamilifecenter 😭😭

I’m so grateful for the opportunity to grow and learn under the guidance of my amazing and beloved teachers @kinoyoga @timfeldmannyoga . It is a dream come true to be learning under your guidance. Your level of knowledge, wisdom, and encouraging presence is truly on another level. It is “pure magic”. You both pour so much love into everything you do. You bring so much happiness, inspiration, and joy to your students ALL AROUND THE WORLD! Thank you for paving the way.

There is something about always coming to the MLC that feels like “magic.” I am so grateful for this heart-felt and profound experience; and to be surrounded with so many like-minded, hardworking, and dedicated practitioners. We have all formed beautiful and life-long friendships; and we have actually reunited and seen other several times a year (like, seriously! Haha).

Thank you @josepharmstrongyoga @edgarinmotion for making Mysore Season and API such a HUGE SUCCESS! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment is remarkable! You continue to create such a special, supportive, and sacred space. You guys are truly SUPERHEROES!

I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to learn and grow under the guidance of @kinoyoga and @timfeldmannyoga . I feel more inspired to continue on this Ashtanga path, and to share these teachings with others.

Lastly, this trip was a reminder to not give up, and to keep putting in the work. Small steps lead to big changes. “Keep Going”, because you deserve to see what happens when all your hard work pays off. Your ‘Future self’ will thank you 🙏❤️

MYSORE SEASON WITH KINO & TIM (RECAP)

“COMING BACK HOME”

The first two weeks of Mysore Season with @kinoyoga @timfeldmannyoga has already finished! I’m grateful to experience so many amazing memories here at the @miamilifecenter in Miami. The first two weeks were been so eye opening, profound, and inspiring. It is truly an honor and such a blessing that I get to practice with Tim and Kino. It is truly an honor! It is amazing to see how much we have all grown in a short period of time.

Kino and Tim’s level of knowledge, wisdom, experience and attentiveness is TRULY UNMATCHED! Kino and Tim pour all of their heart and soul into everything they do.

Time is flying by so fast. Time is so so precious. We must never take ‘time’ for granted. Never take for granted being in the presence of amazing and knowledgeable teachers & mentors. Cherish every moment that you have with the amazing and kind people that you love, adore, and respect so much.

I am so grateful for this beautiful and special community that Kino & Tim have created. It’s been amazing to be surrounded with such inspiring and dedicated practitioners from around the world.

It fills my heart with so much joy and gratitude to be here. ❤️ It feels like a dream come true to be learning and practicing with my teachers! It’s pure magic ✨

I can’t wait for the next two weeks of Mysore Season, and to continue my journey. Time is so precious. Time is going by so fast. My time here has been inspiring and life changing!

I wish I could live and stay in this moment forever 😭❤️

Today was a special day to fill my cup. I took the day to go to the @markryansalon for a hair refresh. All I can say is “OMG WOW!” I feel like a completely renewed person. WOW! I AM BLOWN AWAY! My hair looks AMAZING! Absolutely GORGEOUS!

RECAP FROM THE HANDSTAND WORKSHOP

Thank you so much to everyone that came to my Handstand Workshop (this past weekend).

It is so inspiring to kickstart the New Year by growing and progressing your yoga practice. Wow! I am still on a “endorphin high” after seeing everyone grow so much after the workshops.

Thank you so much to all my amazing, committed, and lovely students that came to the Handstand Workshop. We all had so much fun! We showed up, we learned new Handstand skills & techniques, and we refined. I am truly so inspired by each and every one of you. 😊❤️ Our hearts are so full 🙏

The role of a teacher is a huge responsibility and a huge honor. We should never take for granted being in the presence of talented, skilled and knowledgeable teachers. There is a “special magic” that happens when a teacher/mentor is able to guide the students to go above and beyond their perceived capabilities.

Remember that the learning NEVER STOPS. It requires consistent effort, study, and dedication. Even if you have been practicing and training at something for 16+ years, there is still SSOO much opportunity to learn more and grow.

Stay on the journey. Keep trusting the process. Keep moving forward.

2025 was filled with a lot of pivots, change, growth, re-direction, life lessons, heartbreak, and uncertainty. There were also moments where my emotions were low, days where it was hard to show up … But I believe I am making a difference, so I show up anyways.

This year was also filled with so much love, connection, re-connecting with beautiful friendships, and coming back “Home”. ❤️

As we enter into 2026… I am wishing everyone so much happiness, love, abundance and good fortune as we enter the New Year.

I believe that every person, life event, or major setback is to guide us along a path that is far better than the last. This year, I was reminded of who I am and what I am capable of.

Thank you for sharing this life with me. I am currently living in gratitude. Thank you for following me and for being a part of my life as I navigate this new chapter. Here’s to starting over. Here’s to a new beginning. I love you all so much. ❤️

Thank you to everyone that came out to attend the Earl Haig Secondary School Reunion (re: my High school reunion). We had our reunion right before the holidays. Carpe Diem! 🐟

Thank you to Hooman J and Azadeh M for helping me organize this; and for trying to re-connect & get together with 121+ former students from our Earl Haig Graduating Class…. Wow! It was a huge turnout! It was an amazing night! Fun night! I loved reconnecting with old friends, laughing, and sharing so many fond memories. Also, we all look THE SAME!! Haha 🤣🤣

I am so grateful that I get to come home to Toronto, Canada to see all my friends. I have missed you all so much! It was as if we never lost the time. The friendships we formed during high school are so special, cherished, and meaningful. My heart is so happy. My heart is so full ❤️❤️… I’m already looking forward to the next reunion!

TODAY (October 15th) is MY BIRTHDAY! 🎂🎉

Wow! Thank you so much to my family, cousins, friends, and all my students for the birthday wishes. I love you so much! ❤️

I have to admit… This year has been a year of testing my strength, and testing my will of putting myself back together. Life can change so fast. The trajectory of your life can change at any moment. Sometimes we feel worried, stressed or hurt; but I try to remind myself to not worry — I won’t feel this pain forever. 💔 Those setbacks and hard times will be a moment from the past; and you realize that you are so much stronger than you ever thought you could be. You can always overcome and get through what you just went through.

From the bottom of my heart…. The overwhelming support and love that I receive from my students, friends, and mentors/teachers makes me love what I do even more. I am feeling so thankful. Your overwhelming love motivates me to continue to pursue this path with my whole heart; and to pursue it with as much passion as I have. ❤️

Thank you for opening your hearts, and for allowing me to touch your life in many powerful ways.

I am looking forward to starting this upcoming new chapter. Also, I am looking forward to celebrating with you when I come back, and to having a big get-together.

This is a special appreciation post. Happy Birthday to a very inspiring and special woman, @kinoyoga !

I have to say… Teachers & mentors don’t get the level of appreciation and recognition that they deserve.

Kino, it is remarkable the amount of hours, years, and preparation that you devote yourself to your craft. The level of dedication to grow all of your students, your discipline to always grow & evolve yourself, your positive & inspiring energy, your passion to keep learning, etc... I could go on.

You have accomplished so much in your life; and you are just getting started. You have truly changed my life. You are a FORCE! You lead by example. You have made a HUGE IMPACT on my life, and you you’ve made a powerful impact on the lives of others. It is because of YOU that I have found yoga, and have incorporated yoga into my life. The things that I have achieved and that I can do now, I owe it to YOU!

I recently had the amazing opportunity to teach a Sky High Yoga class at The Edge, a beautiful skyline that is more than 1,100 feet in the air. It overlooks a breathtaking sunrise and yoga experience. I’m so grateful for the amazing weather, and the beautiful students that attended.

Sometimes, things don’t work out the way you want them to be. Sometimes, life has other plans and you are meant for something better.

Never stop believing in your wildest dreams. Thank you to my amazing students who inspire me every day.

I will cherish this moment forever. This is exactly where I am meant to be. My heart is so full ❤️

It’s such an amazing opportunity to learn from @kinoyoga @timfeldmannyoga . You can see (from these videos) that they pour all their heart and soul into everything they do. There is so much love in the work that they share. They give so much to their students. This is what makes them phenomenal master teachers. THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD!

Mysore Season has brought together so many dedicated and hardworking practitioners from around the world. It’s been so inspiring to learn and be surrounded with such like-minded individuals.

This week during Mysore Season, we learned a lot on hands-on assists, the importance of being a stable base for the students, while also giving students the space to grow & find their own path.

Thank you so much @kinoyoga @timfeldmannyoga @miamilifecenter for an amazingly informative and inspiring experience. This experience has been truly incredible and life changing.
